2025.01.27 04:10 brohemoth06 Is the GMC canyon a quieter, smoother ride than the Colorado?
Looking at getting a midsize truck in the next year and have narrowed it down to these two. I know they're more or less the same truck but the GMC is slightly more "luxury" if you will. I have watched reviews on both left and right and they all say they ride wonderfully but none ever mention cabin noise and none really compare the ride of both. Wondering if any of you have test drove them both and your thoughts.
I'll be test driving them both this week so if there's nobody who knows I'll figure it out soon

Hii! Back in July I decided to get both of my ears pierced. The piercing being the second piercing. My right ear feels great. No pain, piercing moves fine, no crusties. However, the left side will not heal for anything. More pain than I’d like, constant crusties or leakage. I’ve heard not to touch it then again I’ve been told to keep it cleaned. Any advice would be great. Is my ear rejecting the piercing? I just want it to heal.
Also done professionally at a shop! (not sure if that matters)

Does konami have a working matchmaking system or do they just go on vibes? l had to fight hard to win. He was a really good player. Props to him. I recently started a job in Nov 2024 in an unrelated field after struggling to find work in my target field.
Current Experience shows: • 2022–2023: 1 full year: Internship/job in target field. •Summer 2024: Graduated with a degree in target field •Gap from graduation until this role
I’m concerned about looking like I’m job-hopping since I’ve been in this role for only 2 month. However, I also want to avoid the gap hurting my chances due to limited experience. Should I add this job to my resume now or wait longer, and if so how long?
Side note: Some of my current responsibilities, like research, maybe could be applicable to roles in my target field. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank-you.

when i drive like a literal grandma under 3k rpms it drives fine doesnt overheat and stays under the flag on the heat gauge (50%)
when i actually wanna get somewhere and go say over 80 for a extended duration at 5k rpms that heat guage shoots way over the flag and is at around (70-80%)
i have already installed a new radiator and thermostat and thermostat gaskets for the inlet tube and the thermostat housing…
what should i do next?? i just want to actually drive my car how i want too not how the car wants, would a upgraded radiator fan help? or a more open front bumper for better airflow?

I'm a 19-year-old who works for a low-voltage company in Seattle. it's a smaller company with only 2 journeymen and 3 apprentices (Including myself). I make $21/hr currently and I have a pretty good place in the company after working for them for 5ish months. I get sent out to the job site myself every now and then along with I one of two people who work there whos competent with a computer to program cameras and wifi. I know I'm on the lower end of the spectrum for pay as an apprentice in my area but this is my first real job other than lifeguarding in high school and I wonder what others who were in my position make and what would be good timing to ask for a raise?

I graduated with my BS about a year and a half ago and have still not made it in to the industry. I’m still working hard at it and want to do this for my career, but I’m currently working for 17 an hour overnight and am hardly making it.
An opportunity to work for myself and make a potentially huge amount of money has arisen and I have to take advantage of it or I may lose my house.
My question is - if I step away to work this opportunity for a year or more while continuing to work on upskilling and projects, are my chances of ever breaking In to the industry basically 0 with an employment gap that big?
