2025.01.27 17:12 Possible_Victory3849 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid XLE - suggested maintenance/service for longevity?
Hi All - Full disclosure, I am not a car guy.
I own a 2023 Rav 4 XLE Hybrid, and I'm wondering what you do to keep your Rav in the best possible shape for longevity? I know the car will give you a maintenance reminder when you should go in for regular service, but I grew up not trusting car dealerships, and am always reluctant to bring my car in for a "check-up" appt. That said, I am severely lacking in my knowledge of cars and mechanic-related things (bummer).
Other random notes - I drive a lot, and always have my dogs in the backseat. I currently have seat covers on all the seats, I stay on top of my oil changes, and wash the car regularly (super salty in the winter where I live).
What else should I do to keep the motor, battery, and general car features in the best condition possible?

Is there a best rod and reel or combo I can get for 70-80 dollars, it would be cool to get the rod and reel seperate but combos are also pretty cool. I only fish with spinning rods and I am mostly fishing for trout and bass. Does anyone have recommendations?

 | I’ve “hearted” a bunch of homes in this area that is east of Elmwood (I think it’s the east part of Claremont). These are all large, beautiful homes but I’m curious what is known about this neighborhood? There appears to be a bunch of them for sale recently in a little pocket. Obviously the location is not central at all and appears to be quite high on the hill, but is there another reason so many of them are for sale? Is it fear of fires? Or something weird with the location? Sorry, I’ve never been to that area so hoping someone can give me a bit more context. We are currently running vSphere 8 Enterprise Plus (ESXi and vCenter only) and we wanted to renew our licensing. Was told by our vendor that we needed to purchase VMware Cloud Foundation cores licenses so we did. It was describe as just a rebranding of the current Enterprise Plus offering, but now that I did into it, it looks like much more that we don't need/want. Our environment is really simple <400 VM (no vSAN, NSX, containers, etc..) -
Can we continue to use what we have with the new VCF core licenses we purchased from the vendor or did we get squirreled into another product?

(Posted something similar a while ago) I recently finished Video Kames' playthrough of the game and would love to find more! I've also already watched QueenTofu's, The Mirandalorian's, DrMick's, and LiteweightGaming's playthroughs. I'm looking for high honor playthroughs, preferably ones where they do most of the side missions. I also prefer players who are emotionally invested in the game cause far too many aren't. Facecam is preferred.

Should I use the RAWC showers?
I used to be fine with using the RAWC showers until I found an actual fucking cockroach in there last semester. Since that incident, I've been taking my sweaty ass home on the bus to shower at home instead. However, this is really uncomfortable and gross, so I've started considering that I might have to use the showers anyways. Do any of you guys still shower there in spite of the knowledge that they have cockroaches?

Hello! I'm 38/M trying to make friends. No romance please. If you want to talk about cooking, gardening, baking and other diy domestic pursuits, I am your guy. I am trying to learn to make everything I can from scratch, albeit slowly. Also nerdy stuff like sci-fi, novels, movies, and tv series. I could talk Dune, got, and eldritch horror for...so long. I also like to travel and hike. I've been around the world, and I have more places to go once life frees up a bit. Tell me where you've been! Word of mouth from people I trust is the only advertising I tolerate. I like board games and video games, though I am playing less of the latter nowadays.
Now, what's rarer is someone who can talk about deep stuff such as existence, morality, spirituality, game theory, math/comp sci, relationships, gender, sexuality, economics, perception, time, society. It would be lovely to find someone with those interests as well; but don't let that limit you. I love to talk deep stuff and shallow stuff so hmu in any case.
I'd be down to vc if we vibe and I love to travel so if you stick around, no matter where you are I'll meet you one day.
Oh, I also don't really discriminate on age, but unless you are wicked precocious I would say >25ish? Idk use your best judgement we will vibe or we won't.
