Hi, I'm looking for any resources on how to fix single bevel knives. Specifically, when there are bends, twists, or if the knife has a microbevel on the ura side. I read and watched about carbide chisel hammer work too. Currently, I'm looking stuff up using Google translate in Japanese too and Instagram. My parents have always been like very religious and conservative my whole life which I guess has just made me so surprised when I found out. I mean like some of my friends talked about hearing their parents having sex growing up but I honestly didn’t even think mine had sex. They barely even kissed in front of me. So it was quite the surprise when I found a video on our family computer of 2 random guys doing my mom while my dad filmed. I freaked out and didn’t know what to do. I felt kinda ashamed and felt less of my dad. I just don’t understand the pleasure in that.

I tend to have this problem where I’ll have this ambitious and driven idea for my life. Then after a while it starts to diminish and it gets dreary again. For example I want to change the way I look at my dreams and my future. I want to escape the 9-5 and work for myself. I now have a high ambitious attitude toward what I want to do. I’m happy about the ideas, and planning aspect, the possible outcome and income. But I don’t want my mind to have is get crushed because of maybe a negative con that might happen or something like that. How do end up going for it and staying on track so that way if a time comes where I can look back and say wow I’m glad I actually pulled through and made it happen?

My partner has a fairly argumentative personality. In the right setting, he is understanding and thoughtful.
Most of our arguments are a result of poor communication that spirals into days long fights.
I struggle with anxiety and can get worked up in these types of situations. He has a hard time anytime I need space or to walk away. But he also has a hard time letting things go when I say I don't want to talk about it or want to move on from a topic because it's trending toward an argument. He has the hardest time with things that are triggers for me because to him the reaction doesn't match the situation so, he has a hard time dropping the topic.
Most recently, we were watching a show that touched on mental health, addiction struggles, childhood violence, etc and I didn't want to watch it anymore. I tried to explain to him that what he was finding interesting, was more triggering for me and I just want enjoying it. He couldn't let the subject go because he "didn't get it". I asked to watch something else, stated I didn't want to talk about it, tried to explain that we were having different experiences (I experienced a lot of violence as a kid) and he wouldn't stop pressing the why. I got pissed and walked away and he mumbled a "Jesus fucking christ" as I did. I yelled as I walked away and told him "I tried to tell you it was triggering, asshole". I shouldn't have called him that and unfortunately, that's all he's going to remember about the fight now.
I don't know what to do to not get to that point. I feel like he pushes me to the absolute limit and then gets mad at me for being there.
I hate that I feel like it fights being out the worst in me in that way. It never goes beyond that, but it usually doesn't stop until it gets there. I don't know how else to say "I don't want to talk about this" and get him to hear me and respect that over his own.. need to understand.. I guess I'll call it. I don't think it's malicious but it does cause him to blow past whatever boundaries I try to set. He will also be mad at me for "running away" in this instance.
I guess I'm just looking for any advice or anyone that can relate.
