I'm surprised this isn't brought up more
For the 4+ years this game has been out we still don't have a toggle for backgrounds on E2 and skin art. Especially with the addition of replacing the lobby background, I always thought it useless since it's being blocked by the ever increasing size of background arts nowadays.
A bit of a niche QOL but it would be a really nice addition, then again QOL and Arknights don't quite mix do they.

2025.01.27 04:52 princessmarshy Best Andriod gacha games - specifically in terms of exploration?
Hi there! I (25f) am extremely new to (gacha) gaming, but I would like a good one to pour some time into on my Google tablet. I started playing Genshin but got busy and am easily overwhelmed and confused, so I stopped for a while. But from doing that I found that my favourite part of gatcha gaming really is the exploration side of things, more so than combat or storyline. I'm a very casual player and enjoy roaming around collecting things and maybe meeting npcs. I tried Infinity Nikki today, but unfortunately had to uninstall it because it ran so poorly and unrepairably froze. So with these things in mind, what gatchas would you recommend for me to play? Or if you have other chill but fun games to recommend me I'm open to that too! TIA!
PS. I tried posting this to the gacha gaming subreddit, but it didn't work.

My partner and I, both 24yrs old, are deciding whether or not to buy a unit now or save for a few more years to buy a bigger stand alone home.
For context, we live in Auckland and have been flatting for a few years so looking to move into a place for just the two of us. Currently have approx $130k saved between us including both of our kiwisavers. Salaries $65k and $80k per year. Student loans of $25k and $45k.
We originally planned to keep renting for another 5yrs or so until we had a decent deposit, paid off our student loans and were on good wages so we could afford a place to settle for a good chunk of years. However, now considering if it would be better to buy a small unit now to get on the ladder .
Option 1: Buy now Looking for a $550k 1-2bed unit in a central-ish Auckland suburb. Would probably sell to upgrade to a family home in 5yrs or so.
Option 2: Buy later Keep renting for a few years (paying $450ish weekly for a 1bed unit), save up a decent deposit, then buy a family sized home for approx. $1-1.2mil.
We’ve had advice from family saying it’s good to just get on the ladder asap. However, we’re not sure if buying would be financially worth it right now considering the costs of interest, rates, insurance, and whether or not the value of a 1bed unit would appreciate enough over 5yrs to outweigh these.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I worked at a private school for a year and a half. I came forward to my admin about a new student needing specialized care due to violent outbursts (biting and hurting staff and students.) The Assistant Director confided in me that her boss had not properly trained her on how to address this situation. But then I was reprimanded for advocating for my student’s safety. My speaking out led to this child receiving a diagnosis and attending a school that fits his needs. Then I was written up for listening to a clean version of a pop song played weeks before, and watching a movie during our in service day. Neither of which are against our rules, as other teachers do both and it is not in our handbook. I was with my coteacher during both these events and she was not written up. Then my coteacher complained that I did not tell her about an invite from the parents that was stated in front of both of us.
Another member on our team was very aggressive and rude towards all our employees. She had multiple complaints from her coworkers, her student’s parents, and even our head of school.
That coworker approached me and asked me why “I did not like her.” I explained that it wasn’t my conversation to have with her. She insisted, and I told her she would make unkind comments and would brag excessively about herself. I told her she would brag about her work and then need our administrative team’s help for said work.
Then an HR investigation was opened, and I was fired 2 weeks before I was scheduled to take time off for a medical procedure. I was escorted by security and was not allowed to say goodbye to my students. They emailed the parents and said “This teacher is no longer employed here. The children are safe.”
Last year I was told I was a “model teacher” with the “warmest classroom environment they had seen it years.”
I am openly gay and it is a private Christian school so I think there are levels to my termination. I think it derives from their discrimination, or me speaking out about that student who needed special education.
