I've been running a guitar-focused email newsletter last several months. Hoping to get some feedback on the format.
Currently, the main sections of each issue (published twice a week) are:
- Short motivational or music quote
- Short guitar lesson/practice (this can be a lesson, a cool progression to learn, a jam track etc.)
- A Guitarist Spotlight (short biography of an up & coming guitarist. Occasionally an interview)
- Gear Showcase (highlighting either a specific brand or piece of gear)
- Gear-related news and trending info.
- Album or guitar book recommendation
I'm trying to find out what type of content people find useful, and actually want to read/see, and what type of info they can do without. It's a lot of work, and tough to get feedback from people. ☺️
Also trying to decide whether to keep it broad (which it currently is) or narrow down the focus (to a specific few genres, for example - though most of the lesson material can apply to different genres).
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Im going to do snowboarding at andorra during 5 days. May be i try ski too, but i am more interested in snowboarding because i used to do skate. I want to know some experiences about your first time in snowboarding and better if you had experience at skate. I have classes payed there and they will teach me, but i would like to know something before that to take more profit from free time. How it feels the transition? It was very difficult? It looks like a worm, but it crawls in a slithery way like a snake, tho there is no face to identify as one. Also it's not big, is smaller than a mango leaf (second pic). It reacts from one of its ends and avoids contact. I'm trying my best for this not to be a compulsion post so please don't give me reassurance! I just want some sympathy and support from the community.
I've been with my partner for just over a year and had ROCD from the very start, there was no honeymoon period (maybe very briefly) but just pure overthinking everything he did, addressing things with him and him improving on things i didn't like was reassurance. I managed to fight through the "do i love him", the comparing him to others, comparing us to other couples and was comfortable with where i was at. We are also long distant and see each other maybe every few weeks which makes matters way way worse.
Then recently when I was less busy and had some more thinking time, I relapsed. It was triggered by him speaking to a girl just in a friendly way at an event ans now I literally cannot see him spend time with any girls, I constantly think he's no longer interested and is speaking to someone else when he takes longer to reply to me.
Frankly I'm exhausted and just want to be normal and not filled with anxiety all the time. It feels so real. It feels like he genuinly doesn't love me anymore or we're not compatible, or we were never compatible to begin with. The intrusive thoughts do not feel like thoughts, I feel the feeling before even hearing the thought. The feeling is so real and I'm so sad. When I'm not anxious I'm sad because it just feels like I've accepted it needs to end.

I am not even 25 but this opinion makes me feel very “get off my lawn”. Why the HELL do new cd players have a vinyl record arm? It does literally nothing. I’m all for collecting physical media, I love my records and cassettes, but I just feel like a record arm on your cd player makes you look like you’ve never purchased older media in your life and you do not know what it’s for. It makes me CRAZY.It’s FAKE IT DOESN’T DO ANYTHING ITS LITERALLY READ ON THE BOTTOM. plus you would have to move it to get the cd in and out!?!?! It makes zero sense.
And if it’s not a fake stupid record arm it’s a inch thick see through square you hang on your wall???
God this might just be getting older but cd players used to look cool! You could get one themed after a character or in your favorite color and cover it in stickers! Where is the tech that looks like it came from an alien planet!

Sto cercando di risparmiare il più possibile sulla spesa, ma non è facile raccogliere tutte queste informazioni in poche uscite al mese.
Per ora credo che esselunga sia il migliore per la roba "di marca" soprattutto se si prende con lo sconto fidaty, ma la linea smart fa troppo schifo per essere considerata commestibile. Il penny sembra molto conveniente per i prodotti di pulizia casa. L'aldi e la lidl li ho trovati troppo costosi per quello che offrono.
