As an instructor, I have to go into each announcement, click "edit", and adjust the date. Is there a better way to do this? I like the way we can adjust dates for all assignments on one page.
I also import my classes with dates already set and adjust the start and end dates, but a few announcements always end up being off a bit.

Thinking of pivoting my entire career
I am a nurse and Ive been working as a dialysis nurse for over 6 years now. Being a nurse can be really rewarding, especially working with long term care patients. But being a nurse was never my choice. I’ve always wanted to work in the tech field. Now I am a point in my life where Ive been thinking about switching careers almost every day. It’s not just because I am starting to feel burnt out, but because Ive never been inspired to work in health care.
When I was 10 years old, I taught myself some basic CSS and HTML. I remember making layouts for Friendster and Myspace and really enjoying it. I wasn’t outside playing with friends, instead I would just stay in to learn and I love every minute of it. I even posted some of my layout codes on a website and shared it to public. I’m not sure how it got noticed before but I received requests for layouts. I loved the feeling that I am making art and that people were enjoying my art too. I really missed that feeling of being creative. I was thinking of switching to tech, but I am not sure where to start or which tech job to do.
Tbh I think the reason why I’m here is because I’m scared to do the jump. I was hoping I could get some advices to people who may be going through the same thing or already did the jump from healthcare to tech. Or if you have advices on which tech job you think would suit me. Thank you in advance

Been looking at what new bike to get for the last 6 months or so, and think I have settled on this.
Despite what many are saying about the INT 650s build quality I just want to run over some of the advantages it has over the other things within my budget (£3500) and then what else I have been looking at
Pros: Has ABS Easy to maintain Relatively new, and easy to find within budget and without high miles General consensus from owners is that, yes it is a budget bike, but is that it is reliable Relevant Fortnine video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GAUo8eUXeU&t=2s&pp=ygUWZm9ydG5pbmUgYnVpbGQgcXVhbGl0eQ%3D%3D I like how it looks Cheap to insure
The only main disadvantage I can find is they have some mixed reviews on the build quality from some owners, but largely praised by traditional media, once you factor in it is a budget bike.
The other bikes I've been looking at are old pre 2009 Bonneville T100s or Kawasaki W650s.
Whilst, when these bikes were new, the build quality is undoubtedly better than any RE, adding 20 years into the mix and upwards of 45,000mi and it is less clear cut, even when they still have most of the same advantages as the RE. Something I noted with these bikes that was steering me away are:
Lack of ABS (and a rear disc brake in the case of the W650) 20 years of corrosion & often very high, or very low miles and been garaged for years on end
The only main advantage I can see to these are, you potentially get a better bike if you buy the right one, and they won't depreciate as much in the long run. And with ABS, whilst if you're braking well you can out brake ABS, in the 1 second you really need it as a last line of defence, it is nice to have, especially as an all weather rider.

After 10 months of looking for a job I finally got an offer to join one of my top company choices!! It’s incredibly hard to understand how much effort and luck is needed to land a job these days.
Here are my job applications numbers to help put things in perspective to those still looking:
Time searching: 9 months
Total applications: +500
Referrals: 38
Recruiter screens: 30 (19 of these were referrals)
Hiring Managefirst round: 21 (14 referrals)
Final round: 9 (8 referrals)
Offers: 1 (not a referral!)
Crazy to think the one offer came from a LinkedIn EasyApply job! What really helped my chances though was a combination of factors: 1. Good timing (found listing within minutes of posted and job had 0 applicants) 2. Submitting a tailored resume (I already had a resume ready for this role/company combination) 3. Sending a LinkedIn InMail to Hiring Manager with a short cover letter and reasons to interview me 4. Strong match between job needs and my background
Hopefully somebody out there will find this useful in securing a job. I am grateful for everything that’s been shared in this subreddit as it really helped inform my job search and interview approach. Good luck to everyone with or without a job!
