I don’t understand something and please keep in mind I’m new to trading cards and stuff. But what I don’t get is how is it that there’s packs going for up to $500 plus yet the same packs are being sold by Walmart, target, and the Pokémon company themselves for like $4? Like everytime I go to one of the stores the booster packs and other boxes are priced normally yet people sell them for a ridiculous amount online? If the packs people sell like that are truly worth as much as y’all say they’re worth, then why aren’t the companies selling them for that much? If they know their packs are worth hundreds if not thousands, why sell them for like 4$ a booster pack?

Currently in the middle of antibiotics for 2nd flare up in 2 years, 36F, generally healthy, very active, not overweight, but definitely eats a lot a lot of snack foods and treats. I discovered this threat today to learn more and now I’m kind of concerned about this long term. Long post ahead and not even sure what I’m looking for.
I was diagnosed with diverticulitis in Dec 2022 after a flare up. Identified with bloodwork then a CT. At the time I was given augmenten and told to take it easy and I was improved in a few days and all better in maybe 2 weeks? They didn’t make it out to be a big deal, it never came up again at well visits.
Fast forward to today, I was seen by another doctor in my primary care group for acute pain from what I assumed was a flare up. He did not have me get another CT (understandable) and wrote me a script again which at the time I thought was best case and exactly what I was looking for. Didn’t get much guidance either time about nutrition, just to watch what I eat and didn’t think much of it, but now that I’m on here I’m realizing that this could be pretty serious long term and i probably should be following some pretty strict dietary restrictions.
Should I ask to see a specialist? How many flare ups did you have before you saw a specialist?
And does time between flare ups impact when you were referred to see a specialist? I’ve been fine for 2 year but now I’m wondering if I had mild flare ups and didn’t realize.

2025.01.29 02:54 AusTwunk Easiest / best return characters for newbie controller (specifically on PC)?
 | Now I’m not completely incompetent, but I am pretty new to the game, and for such an enormous player base I’m surprised to find not many online guides for this topic. Surely there’s a lot of people who play using a controller (Xbox controller on pc if it matters). Aim will obviously be my biggest gap to bridge between MnK. So scarlet witch and cloak and dagger with their lock on are options. What other easy to play characters would be good for me, I don’t want to get overwhelmed with a kit. I’ve found I prefer playing / supporting from further back so play a support (currently Jeff cause he’s cute or Racoon if I want to get points on the board) but would love more suggestions on DPS! I’ve heard melee characters are good for those who struggle with aim but the trade off is I would have to play up front and close. What about iron man? squirrel girl? Those stood out to be in brief time in practise. Also controller players, drop your settings (I know there is actually a few more sources for me to find online for the settings themselves, but drop them anyway!) And yes I know the best way is to try them all and see what works best. But that’s what is community is for right? 2025.01.29 02:54 BUZZKlLLlNGT0N PC of 8 years ‘Out of Date’
I’ve had my PC for 8 years, never changed any of the components. Just recently I was gaming and it shut down with no warning, after attempting to turn it on, the PC will boot but will not connect to my monitor.
I’ve tried everything from different monitors and different HDMI cables, I also tried a VGA cable.
I took it into a electronics store and they told me that it’s ’out of date’, I had to press them a little to ask exactly what was wrong and if there’s an alternative to just scrapping my current PC to buy a new one.
They finally told me the CPU, Motherboard and RAM were the issues, but i’m still confused as to how this happened, is it really as simple as those things being ‘out of date’ as I was told? I was also told that even if one of those components stopped working, I would have to buy everything new.
I plan to rebuild my PC, flip it, and buy a new Laptop.
Im just needing some advice on what I should do, do I have to buy CPU, Motherboard and RAM all new?

2025.01.29 02:54 LaVieEnBrat My mom's in the hospital and I'm home alone. Just kind of need some kind words.
So, my mom is currently in the ICU with diabetic ketoacidosis. I had to call her ambulance this morning after she couldn't stop vomiting. Previously, she'd only ever been to the hospital when she was giving birth. She's the only family I have, even if we don't get along/aren't emotionally close. I'm having to wonder now what my life would be like if, for some reason, she's gone sooner than later. I'd be completely alone in the world. I'm also in a transitionary period with my career right now, and still a bit down from some seasonal depression. I guess...I just wish I had someone to talk to. I'm all alone in the house- minus the cats. It's so weird (my mom and I rent together) and I didn't realize how lonely it would feel.
