2025.01.30 06:40 CyroCryptic Combos feel completely impossible to land against trained enemies.
I'm playing through the game for the first time because KCD2 is coming out, and I find that landing combos on anyone who isn't a no armor bandit to be almost entirely impossible. Pretty much every armored enemy will perfect block or master strike about 50% of my attacks. The odds that I land 3 consecutive attacks is too low to be worth using, and 4 hit attacks legitimately only work if the AI gets stuck on something for a moment.
Early on I was frustrated that single poke attacks are the only thing I can land, but after some googling I read numerous people say that it's a low level character thing and once I level up Ill start being able to actually fight without poke spamming my longsword between master strikes. Well unfortunately now that I have nearly 100% of the game (currently level 19), I see that the problem only gets worse not better. Some enemies towards the end of the game will literally master strike me 4 or 5 times in a row, or they perfect block 100% of my attacks, forcing me to win by master striking back. The only enemies dumb enough to allow me consecutive attacks are enemies that die or surrender in the first few hits anyway.
Now, I'm not sure if the people claiming it gets better are just coping, or if my game is bugged, but doing anything other than master strike + poke with my longsword will lose me the vast majority of fights and if I'm lucky I can pull off a 3 hit combo maybe 10% of the time.

I suffer from medical neglect from my mom, I'm very sure that I have schisatosomis because I have bumps all over my legs and also my stomach looks like it's pregnant even though it's not.
This has been going on for years and I think I might have developed POTs syndrome from it because whenver I run for long periods of time I feel like I'm going to faint and throw up.
Im finally going to tell someone other then my mom, My mom never brought me to the doctor for this and she just brushes my legs off as "excessive excema", How do i talk to my school counselor about this? I'm having very bad shortness of breath so it's hard to concentrate in class.
I don't want him to tell my mom about it since she will think that I'm being fake and that I'm making this up and also she will get mad at me, At my other school I told my counselor about my self harm issues and offered to get me a actual therapist but my mom got mad at her and said no.
I don't want her to know, I'm considering just asking him to act as if I went to the hospital for a bad illness but I'm wondering if he can comply?

2025.01.30 06:40 TorKemA Issue with Reverse Voltage Causing Overcurrent in Modbus Circuit Using SN65HVD3088EDR and CDSOT23-SM712
I have a Modbus communication circuit using the SN65HVD3088EDR transceiver on a detector board. The same transceiver is also used on the main control board that communicates with the detector. Both circuits have CDSOT23-SM712 bidirectional TVS diodes on the A and B lines for protection.
The issue occurs when 24V reverse polarity is accidentally applied to the detector’s power input. Despite having a reverse voltage protection diode on the power line, 24V appears on the GND pin of the CDSOT23-SM712 on the detector board. This voltage then flows through the A and B lines to the main control board’s CDSOT23-SM712 GND, completing the circuit. As a result, the system draws excessive current, and in some cases, the CDSOT23-SM712 diodes get damaged.
I have seen recommendations to use isolated communication lines, but I am looking for a lower-cost solution to prevent this issue. Any suggestions?
