Hi everyone! I’m a beginner runnejogger. I joined a jogging class in my college and I get assignments every sunday. The class is fun and it is getting me active! but i’m a little insecure about my pace when running, it’s my third official run and i’ve slowed down so much since my first and compared to my classmates i am so slow.
My first run came out to 18:54/mi in Strava with my second one being the same exact time too, I just finished my third one with a pace of 19:04/ mi. I’m somehow getting slower every time i run and it’s making me scared i’m going to fail the class with my professor thinking i’m not even trying. So does anyone have any tips on how to speed up/shorten my pace? My classmates are completing a mile in 10 minutes while it takes me 20 in total :(

2025.01.30 14:49 Hedonistic-Zen Bad RAM used while transferring large quantity of files, how bad is it ?
Sooo. I'm asking the question because i didn't find any definitive answer. Probably nobody can answer this but i just want to know if i'm in the shits.
So i build my data server (synology) one month ago. Transfered most of my files from multiple drives and external media to it. But i used my main computer to do the transfers.
I just found out that one my RAM stick was faulty after multiple crashes. Let's say 1000s of errors in MemTest kind of faulty. Replaced and tested everything, now it's fine.
But my question is... since i don't know when my RAM started getting faulty, did i corrupt most of my files i transfered using this RAM ?
I checked hundred of files, videos, etc... on my server, they seems fine. I rewrote a lot of them with some backup to check if they are the same. They are, at least the ones i had a backup for.
Sooo who i can be sure that most of my files aren't secretly corrupted ? I guess the videos, it would probably be a few frames that are out, so i wouldn't see it...

However after receiving the policy schedule, it is showing my car model variant as 1.5J in the policy schedule. Is this going to cause any issue when making insurance claim?

I mixed this gray and put down this pattern over it in red. On its own I’m very happy with how the colors work together.
But the other half of the canvas I choose to leave white and do another red pattern over.
The problem is when you take a step back the white is completely overpowering and washes out the gray/red side.
Thinking about it, I feel like a lighter blue would be the compliment to tone it down and even it out.
But I’m more interested in how I might accomplish this without altering or ruining the red colored pattern that is over the white. Thoughts?

Hi all, I've recently switched my old headphones for new ones because of a static noise in both ears. My phone (Google pixel 8, android version 15, age: almost a year old) is updated and is a fairly new model, so it can't be that because it has worked fine with my phone. I factory reset it, repaired it, it still happens with my new headphones. Do you guys think it's my phone that's causing this or the headphones? Help me troubleshoot this, thanks!

I'm looking to start live streaming but had a few questions I was hoping the braintrust here can help with. The goal is to stream live youth hockey games to YouTube or Facebook, allowing relatives and parents who didn't travel with the team to watch the kids play.
the questions;
Is there a different service or app I should be using? The more mainstream the better with a lot of grandparents trying to access the feed.
I received a copyright warning on Facebook due to the rink playing music between periods, is there a way other then muting the feed to avoid this? I don't love the silent stream or the mute notification that was recorded on the stream.
Any other tips or trick those with experience want to share?
