So I wanna up my pizza game and I've heard poolish is the secret, but in almost all recipes that don't include poolish they say to let rest and then refrigerate for up to 36 hours to ferment and develop flavour, is this step necessary if I use poolish? Or is it another trick to make the dough even better along with the poolish?

For context when I was 18/19 I would only have sex with guys in there 40-50’s. Now at 29 I don’t really have random hookups as much but find myself only having sex with 50-60 year olds these days. And can’t seem to warm up to the idea of getting with someone my own age. Is anyone else feel the same way or in a similar situation?

So, I currently have an old windows PC using a bunch of different, old disks in storage spaces for a Plex server. Some are wd, Seagate, Hitachi, some are 3.5, some 2.5, some upwards of 10 years old, and the whole array is about 8tb. Windows is installed on a small SSD, the disks are all linked and it's running Plex, sonarr, radarr, tautulli, qbittorrent and nordvpn. I also use it to store misc. garbage, but nothing is irreplaceable or mission critical. My problem is that storage spaces with parity is incredibly slow and without parity isnt much better. There's also issues with split tunneling in windows still.
I'm looking at replacing the whole setup with a Pentium/i3 nuc with a usb-c DAS enclosure. I'd like to be able to remotely access at least qbit/sonarradarr remotely using nzb360, and I do not want to route Plex through a VPN. I'd also like to be able to keep everything updated without much downtime
What's my ideal setup here? I'm thinking some flavor of Linux, zfs and docker, but I'm unsure of the specifics or the setup for them

Had my bathtub / shower retiled a year ago and I’m noticing that the grout around the seam where the tile and tub meet has begin to turn orange. Not sure if this is just soap scum or not, but in a few spots it looks like the grout is coming loose.
Should there even be grout here, or should I scrape it out and replace with caulk?

Hi all! I am on an F-1 visa, but graduate in May. My fiancee (U.S. citizen) and I got married yesterday (now wife I guess!) at a small ceremony and will be filing for my green card in the next few weeks. We have been dating for nearly three years. We are very much in love and have a full, bigger wedding ceremony planned for this coming June when my parents and other family can be there! We will not be living together until after the semester has finished because we are both currently enrolled in gender-separated student housing until the end of the semester.
The main reason we got married earlier than our big ceremony is so that I can work full-time through EAD as soon as possible after the wedding since my now wife will be a graduate student working part-time for scholarship, so she will not have time to work.
I have two questions: - I have three months left of OPT. Can/should I apply for OPT beginning in July so that we have until October for my EAD card to come in? That will give us a little bit more security, although it is more expensive. - When applying for my green card, how transparent should we be about having our ceremony so that I can work? Some have recommended to us that we leave this out, while some have said that USCIS does not have a problem with this as long as we are truly in love and planning on being together (therefore we should provide proof for future plans for housing together and receipts for our future large ceremony).

Here are some of my interpretations of Scorn biology. First, Genesis Wall is actually a huge self-sustaining life, whose lifespan may be infinite (or finite), and it may be a kind of individual with blurred boundaries like some slime molds.
The humanoid species to which the Scorn Guy belongs (here we call them "ScornGuys") are actually spores produced by the Genesis Wall (but the structure of these spores is very complex and intelligent). Most of the ScornGuys will eventually die due to nutrient exhaustion.
