I'm in final year with 4 months to graduate I have only two projects(AHB protocol and RISC-V processor both using Verilog HDL) in my resume with no work experience are there are any projects where I can standout or decent enough for design and verification role , I have good understanding of verilog and beginner level with system verilog and I can use matlab and simulink too, I have good understanding of Static timing analysis but no practical work on it

I am an avid target shopper, however I'm really disappointed in their announcement last week and would like to try to shop there less often. Where else in town can I get essential items like soap, shampoo, cleaning spray, toothbrushes, vitamins, etc.? Can be local or other chains that haven't bent the knee to stop including DEI programs. I do shop at Costco, but sometimes I do not wish to purchase items in bulk.

Purchased Songs of Conquest for a deal on Playstation. Immediately lost 4 hours being sucked into this game, which reminded me of Heroes of Might and Magic: Quest for the Dragonbone Staff back on PS2 way back in the day. I friggin love these games, but it doesn't seem like the HoMaM games are easily available on Playstation.
Just looking for some similar games that specifically have the "add troops to units" and the strategic battle-style.
I do have a laptop, so worst case, I can get some of the older games on GoG, but I just never feel comfortable playing on PC.

Hi, does anyone else have this problem? I play on ps5 and my buddy on PC. The 5.50 update came out yesterday. For the PS5 the 5.51 for small bug fixes. Since the demo we can no longer join each other. The message "Version differences" always appears, but that's not because the Ps5 has received a small update?

The air in his chamber hummed with a subtle energy, a constant reminder of the force that flowed through him, both exhilarating and unsettling.
Sitting up, he ran a hand through his tousled hair, his reflection in the mirror still strikingly unfamiliar.
His eyes, now sharper, seemed to pierce through the very air around him, and his face, once boyish and soft, now looked more like that of a young man on the brink of something he couldn't yet understand.
It unsettled him—yet there was an undeniable thrill in it.
As Hope rose and stretched his limbs, feeling the rush of Qi coursing through him, a soft knock at the door broke his reverie. He turned, raising an eyebrow.
"Come in," he called, his voice hoarse from the intensity of his training.
The door creaked open, and a young maid stepped inside, her presence soft yet confident.
It was Lian, one of the maids who served the Fallen family.
She was in her late teens, a quiet girl with pale brown hair and dark eyes. Her posture was always perfect, and she carried herself with a level of grace that Hope admired.
She had served the family for several years, taking care of both mundane and personal tasks. But Hope knew that she wasn’t just a servant—there was something in the way she observed him, something in the depth of her gaze that always made him feel like she knew more about him than he did.
“Young Master Hope, your breakfast is ready,” Lian said softly, bowing her head slightly.
Hope paused for a moment before nodding.
“I’ll be down in a minute,” he replied, his voice calm but distant.
He wasn’t interested in breakfast—at least, not in the way he used to be. But he was used to Lian’s subtle insistence. The maids had always been good at understanding the needs of the family members, even when those needs were unspoken.
Lian hesitated for a moment, her hands clasped neatly in front of her. “Young Master, may I ask... how are you feeling today? You’ve been looking... different, lately.”
Her eyes lingered on him with quiet concern, a look Hope was beginning to recognize. “It’s not just your appearance. There’s something in the way you carry yourself.”
Hope’s heart skipped a beat.
His first instinct was to brush off the question, to say everything was fine—but he couldn’t deny that a part of him was drawn to the concern in her eyes.
For a moment, he found himself searching for words, but his thoughts were clouded by the weight of his own desires.
“I’m fine,” Hope said, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
He could feel the hunger inside him, pulsing and thrumming in his chest. It was becoming harder to ignore, harder to suppress. But there was a flicker of something else in his voice, something vulnerable he hadn’t shown anyone before. “Just... tired.”
Lian didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she studied him carefully, as though trying to read between the lines of his words. She could sense that there was more beneath the surface, something Hope wasn’t ready to confront.
“I understand,” Lian said after a moment, bowing her head again. “I’ll prepare a bath for you afterward. You’ll feel better.”
Hope merely nodded, grateful for her subtle care but unwilling to engage further. She stepped back and exited the room, leaving him alone with his thoughts once again.
It had been a long time since Hope allowed himself to feel the weight of his own emotions.
The world around him seemed to be shifting, his desires growing sharper and more insistent.
The hunger inside him had a voice now—one that told him to claim power, to seize his destiny before anyone else had the chance. But there was also a lingering sense of emptiness, a void in his soul that gnawed at him no matter how hard he pushed it away.
Despite the growing strength he felt, Hope’s mind was consumed with thoughts of escape.
Escape from his family’s expectations, from the crushing weight of his duty as the family’s hope.
He didn’t want to be just another cog in the machine of his family’s legacy.
He didn’t want to live a life of mediocrity—he wanted to be more.
To become someone who could rewrite the rules of the world, someone who could shape their own fate.
But could he do it? Could he truly break free from everything he knew?
The thought lingered in the back of his mind, pulling at his thoughts like a rope tethered to an anchor in the depths of his soul.
The sound of his father’s voice broke through his reverie.
"Hope, are you coming down? We need to discuss your training plan for today" Castian called from the bottom of the stairs.
Hope sighed softly, pushing aside the unsettling thoughts.
It wasn’t the first time his father had insisted on talking about his training schedule, and it wouldn’t be the last. The old man was determined to make him into something he wasn’t sure he wanted to be—someone who followed the established path, the legacy of the Fallen family.
“I’ll be down in a minute” Hope called back, his voice steady.
As he stepped out of his room and made his way down the stairs, he passed several more servants along the way, including the quiet maidservant, Wei, who was dusting the railing.
Wei was much older than Lian, a woman who had served the family for decades.
Her graying hair and weathered face contrasted sharply with the youthful vigor of the other maids, but she still carried herself with quiet dignity.
Though she was silent for the most part, Hope often found himself noticing the way her eyes would follow him, like she was quietly judging his every move.
His father was already seated at the long dining table when Hope entered the dining hall.
The table was laid out with an array of food—delicate pastries, sliced fruits, and hearty porridge—but Hope barely looked at it.
He had no appetite for any of it.
His gaze wandered instead to the window, where he could see the gardens sprawling out beyond the estate. The open sky, the green fields—it all seemed so far away from the world he was confined to.
“Sit, Hope” Castian said, his tone gentle but commanding. "We need to talk about the next step of your training. There are others who have noticed your progress. It’s time to start testing your limits."
Hope forced a smile and sat down.
“Testing my limits” he murmured, his voice distant.
The words felt almost hollow on his tongue. He was already testing his limits—he’d been doing that every day for weeks.
“Your future is within reach, son” Castian continued. “But you need to be prepared for what lies ahead. Not everyone will be as understanding of your progress. Some will see your potential and try to stop you.”
Hope’s gaze hardened, his jaw tightening. “Then I’ll stop them first.”
His father looked at him, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. He said nothing for a moment, then nodded slowly. “Good. Just remember—strength alone is not enough. You must have the wisdom to use it.”
Hope didn’t answer.
He didn’t need to.
He wasn’t looking for wisdom.
He was looking for power.

2025.01.30 15:03 nightshadet_t Help with sisters killing tough targets
I'm getting ready for a Crusade as Sisters and am trying to figure out what my best option is for dealing with T10+ units. Start out we are at 500pts so I'm not to worried yet but we will jump to 1000 after a bit, no epic heroes as well.
Without Vahl, paragons feel to overcosted but with AoF lance might still do well in melee, Exorsiste is S10 so I'll occasionally wound on 4s, castigator will wound 5s with rerolls, and then infantry meltas are an option with MD/characters. I suppose Retributors in an Immolator are an option but they seems to expensive.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Bueno veran, resulta que hace unos 2 años termine a mi ex porque teniamos problemas economicos y yo no me daba cuenta de que estaba cometiendo infidelidades porque no lo consideraba así (mensajeaba con otras chicas).
La terminé después de una pelea y a la semana ella ya estaba saliendo con alguien, de ahí yo empecé a salir con alguien más por despecho y posterior como que nos desconectamos uno del otro. En varias ocasiones que la busque a lo largo de estos 2 años me rechazaba.
Bueno pues me comentó que cuando estuvimos separados se acostaba con desconocidos de internet porque dice que se sentía sola y de alguna manera eso la hacia sentir un poco mejor. También me dijo que no se cuidaba y eso me pone aún mas mal. Realmente no se qué les veía porque me enseñó quienes eran e información, yo sé que no soy la persona mas guapa del mundo pero las personas con las que se relacionaba eran horribles con un patrón muy marcado y que no se parece en nada a mi.
Yo también estuve con varias personas y sé que quiza no debería de sentirme mal, ya que yo igual me llegue a acostar con desconocidas y tuve dos parejas sesual3s.
Ella me dijo que ella iba a hacer lo que yo le pidiera para que me sintiera mejor pero simplemente no puedo, me cuesta mucho trabajo no pensar en eso e imaginarmela con todas esas personas. ¿Cómo puedo mantener esto a flote?
