Hey,
I鈥檓 trying to figure out the most tax-efficient way to contribute to my pension through an AVC.
There鈥檚 some uncertainty around upcoming expenses and I鈥檓 considering taking the cash and using it to increase my emergency fund in the short term. That way I still have the option to make an AVC myself later in the year However, is it more tax efficient to contribute via my payroll or ultimately does either option amount to roughly the same?
Any insights would be much appreciated!

2025.01.30 22:00 LightShadow Source code won't auto save after first Exception hit in Run/Debug, cannot git commit, cannot File->Exit process
The last few days I've run into a bug that is starting to drive me absolutely crazy.
If I'm coding and my Run/Debug session hits an exception then the IDE will no longer save the source code. What this means is any subsequent runs after fixing the error will run the old code (cached?) and not pick up the new changes. You also cannot commit the new changes, since they won't save to disk, so I have to resort to creating a git patch, using ps + kill to kill the PyCharm process, re-open the program, and apply the patch.
It will work until I run, hit an exception, then it conks out again.
Is anyone else seeing this? I'm losing so much time.

I had a rebuttal for every single response he had to one of mine and it just kept going over and over I can never ending loop of what ifs. So basically how do people choose a side besides opinion? Yes he's pro crypto but it's just a meme coin. But it's the President's meme coin. It's never going to amount to anything substantial but it will a Rollercoaster as long as he's President. So we're all waiting for him to say something about it so it will spike. Be ready to take your profits when it does. Wait for it to fall back to it's base around $20 and buy in and repeat the cycle. I believe this will happen only a few times a year. Remember we're not even 2 weeks into a 208 week term. He's been busier than any president in this first 2 weeks so I'm sure it's not top of mind right now. There will be big money to be made and lost along the way. As long as there are some crypto bro's in his inner circles then someone's going to be making money. I'm trying to find rock sling, I'm in the swamp of aeonia and I've found the stairs that should be opened, I can see the cut out of them in the streets but they are closed?
Am I missing something? Anything I've seen online doesn't mention seals or anything. I have found 2 that I've activated but it's still not open. I'm wondering is it a reforged thing or has something changed in the base game too?
