Guys I'm freaking out!! I just got invited for a super day FiCC and Equities division 2026. I applied for funsies since I usually do not get to the hirevue stage in my past applications. The hirevue I completed for this position I don't even want to talk about it, so I'm so surprised they would send me a superday invite maybe it's a mistake who knows. My knowledge in this division is limited so if anyone has gone through the interview pls let me know what to expect and prepare for thank you.

I read someone saying that this is them trying to get more mainstream appeal by making a shorter, poppy hit
Now I'm not entirely sure about this, maybe some songwriter or producer could confirm this for me, but there surely must be easier ways of getting a mainstream hit than making a song in an odd time signature that's lead by harpsichord, sax, and mandolin, right?

 | So I myself have not been able to figure it out, but I’ve recently gotten back into iPods again and purchased a USB-C to 30 pin charger just so it would be easier for me to have the newer blocks to charge my iPod and using this charger I plugged the USB-C and into my iPhone 16 Pro and the 30 pin into my iPod classic fifth GEN and it tells me do not disconnect. I just got my saps for my first commissions here and wanted to buy an orange or yellow dragon. But WTF happened to the dragon prices right now??? The cheapest ones are 150 saps and they are ugly. Two hours ago they were like 100 saps or even lower. Help, why does it change so fast and will it go down (maybe just someone tiring like crazy, idk)

"I use the rubbing alcohol wipes and rub behind my ears, and it works wonders. A friend is former military and he suggested it because it’s what they’d do when he was stationed overseas."
"What finally worked? Mentos. Peppermint relaxes the gastric muscles so there’s no cramping."
"What DOES help is citric acid. So sour candies, some sodas, but mainly Alka Seltzer. It helps so much."
"Smoking a joint kills nausea for me."

Ich höre von unterschiedlichen Studiengängen unterschiedliche Faktoren, die das Studium schwer machen - bei einigen ist es z.B ein sehr kompetitives Klima (Jura), bei einen ist es einfach die Komplexität der Themen (Mathe oder so), bei anderen der Umfang des Lernstoffs etc.
Was macht euer Studium schwer? Wenn ihr schon mehrere Studiengänge angefangen habt, würden mich Vergleiche noch mehr interessieren

2025.01.30 21:41 Harionago Mahjong Beginner: Am I on the Right Track?
I've just started playing Mahjong and am still getting to grips with it. I wanted to take you through my strategy and was hoping you could give me some further tips and let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.
- I mostly work towards a riichi rather than opening my hand, as I haven't memorised all the yaku yet.
- If I have a seat/prevailing wind pong, a dragon pong, or an all simples hand, I'll open my hand and work towards those yaku.
- If someone calls riichi, I try to discard safe tiles—ones they have already discarded or ones discarded by other players after the riichi call—unless I'm confident I can finish my hand before they complete theirs.
- I tend to discard terminal tiles and aim for sequences as close to 5 as possible.
- I try to pay attention to what's already been discarded. For example, there's no point in holding onto wind or dragon tiles if more than one player has already discarded them.
