So, uhh… let’s start this from the beginning.
Recently, I got into college and now live in a dorm. The system here is that you arrive on Sunday and go back home on Friday. And, y’know, I was looking for new friends and connections. I found a friend who is also my classmate. He got in touch with some girls who are 18+, and one of them really got into my heart. She was like heaven to me—beautiful and everything I ever wanted.
We talked for about a month, and one day, I brought her flowers. I think, for her, the pieces started to fit together. We had endless calls, long texts—we talked so much. Until the day I gave her the flowers.
She called me to talk about something, and the first thing she asked was if I wanted to tell her something. I turned red like a tomato. So I told her… and sadly, I got rejected.
We still stayed friends, but the feelings were still there inside me. Then, the friend who introduced me to her told her how I was feeling and how mentally bad I was. Another tough call came. We talked for about an hour, and it ended with us having no social contact.
Then one day, I was at school just chilling when a really long message popped up. It was from her—saying she missed me and wanted to see me again someday. Everyone told me not to reply, but I did. And I think the feelings came back…
From the moment we started being friends again, we were chatting all night, just like before. But now, things are starting to fade. She won’t respond for 40 minutes, which she never used to do. She started talking to other guys, even doing things with them. Which is normal—she’s an adult, and I should accept it. But, y’know… it hurts me.
Now, let’s talk about my hometown friends, the ones I’ve known for a really, really long time. When I first showed them her picture, they looked at me like I was crazy and started insulting her. One specific friend (W), whom I really trust, insulted her the most. I wasn’t happy about it, but I let it go.
During the time of no social contact, she was the only person I talked to about it. Many times, she told me she was going to text her or something, and I wasn’t happy with that—it felt wrong.
And now, let’s get to today. She followed her on Instagram. The dorm girl sent me a screenshot of my hometown friend requesting to follow her, and you can probably guess my reaction. I immediately messaged my hometown friend, asking if she was serious and telling her not to mess things up even more than they already were.
Her response? She told me I shouldn’t be so scared, that I should start acting like a “real man,” and to “shut the fuck up” and never come to her about the dorm girl again. She also said that I’m doing things by myself and totally ignoring their advice.
I got mad and started arguing—like, am I supposed to listen to her like a dog or what?
Now, everything is quiet. No messages, nothing.
And now, a question for you: What the fuck should I do to solve this freaking mess?
I’d be thankful for any advice.

Why isn't there an Amalgam limit during the boss fight? They eat up all the zombies so I cant charge my Aether Shroud. My mutant injector is bugged I couldn't use it at all and the vote UI got stuck on my screen. I've been stuck at this point since the map released.

2025.01.30 22:20 Fastidieux Where to take a Filipina?
Im 'traveled' but not so much interested in 'traveling'. I think PH is pretty great (only been here a year) and i dont want to leave. Everything I want is here, GF's place is in probably the exact spot i'd have picked for myself (in hindsight) and i've got the waterfall and beach nearby. My favorite place in the world is about 20mins away from where i live now, a big waterfall where i ate bananas and purple potatoes with the GF.
If given my way, i'd follow my stomach and get a nice salad and steak somewhere quickly and return immediately. Don't know where to take the GF, she gets cold easily, vehemently sticks to rice/fish/fruits with the occasional Jollibee burger steak and sometimes ventures further from that when we go places but we havent gone to many places. Been to Boracay and bits of Cebu (mostly malls)....but otherwise we haven't done much for the year i've been here.
Where have your taken your Filipina and she was wow'd?
I'd like her to experience the open roads of America and the scale of it compared to PH....but i know if we go there i'd probably take her to places i'd want to go if i were a tourist in America. Im very proud of the National Parks there and would really like to just hike around for awhile everyday....but what would an American vacation look like? We go to a populacrowded National park, take a few pictures, fly to Las Vegas for food and guns and come back? The problem is the flights and the American tourist prices.....i'd imagine she'd enjoy the sights and stuff but the experience would be tarnished/ruined based on the price. And then i would have spent all that money when all i wanted myself was to hike around and be as far away from non-gf human contact as comfortably possible and get good grub after, neither of which requires a crowded national park or Las Vegas, though i would love to shoot a rocket launcher and then have my fill of American buffet food for a few days before returning home. Anyways, maybe America isn't right for a short vacation to start.

I got my hands on an electrical single coil stove which is 20cm by 20cm and can easily be used in a bedroom or so. I grabbed a pot and I start boiling water on it. It was just part of the instructions to boil water a few times before using it in action. After the most of the water I put inside the pot boiled, I added a few grams of salt (NaCl) and mixed it with water (with absolute no purpose). Then, I throw a copper sheet inside to see if any thing changes. Nothing did. Since I have a hardware engineering background, I have some power supplies and electrical stuff. I just connected the negative of my supply to the copper and left positive into my salt water solution. It slowly turned to be foamy, semi blue and semi brown. I mixed it using a plastic rod and it became a dark copperish brown. Then I collected the crap I made in a bottle of water and let it cool down (as you can see in the pics). First, I just want to know what I made. Second, although I washed the pot a few times with soap and water, I'm not sure if it's safe to cook inside that or not. 2025.01.30 22:20 beckyzparks Children of Men - is there an alternate ending [SPOILER]
First, I have to say I really like this movie. I'm drawn to dystopian, post-apocalyptic, sci-fi... all of that. I've seen it several times and watched it last night, and I don't remember the boat showing up at the end. The way I remember it was that Kee told Theo she saw the boat, but the movie cut to credits before we could see it. When I watched it last night, it ws clear that the boat was the correct boat, and that Kee and Theo had been spotted. It puts an entirely different spin on the ending. I preferred it the way my mind remembers it - unsure, maybe even terrifying, because I didn't know if they would be saved, or if it was all for nothing. And I felt disappointed, because now the movie feels a little cheapened, like a happy ending was tacked on at the end because that's what people want to see. Am I imagining things? I'm sure I probably am, but it sure didn't feel like it.

I just cant with my life or my parents anymore, I am here because of the decision they made, they forced me into engineering I didn't ask them I begged to to let me change courses but said no need shut up and study listen to us. I failed twice what else do they need like I just can't, even at home they treat me like hell, always lecturing taunting this that what not; I just want to scream at them always blaming me for everything, that they moved closed to my university because of me, I didn't ask them I told them to put me in dorms but no they moved and bought a house on their own choice and still blaming me, I just want to die I am done fed up with this life of mine, like I cant even go out on my own unless I say its regarding university but today my dad was like I want to come with you to the university speak to them about what to do to go back this that but I didn't want him the reason I book those appointments so I can get out of this hell even for a bit and try to get help as much as I can and go back to school but no made a huge scene said no need to go. They are always saying that no need to study will make sure you go back to India ( I study abroad) and get you married off this that I am simply fed up cant take it anymore I just cant. They dont know what they do to me I get headaches every single day for few hours and has reached a point where I cant bear them anymore. I just can't maybe I am better off dead. Just want someone to talk to me.
