I’m just starting my career in photography, and one of the biggest time-consuming tasks is culling. I’ve come across AI tools like FilterPixel, Imagen that claim to speed up the process, but I’m wondering—how much should I trust AI to pick the best shots?
I get that AI can filter out blinks, bad focus, and duplicates, but do I still need to proof my work manually after using it? Will I miss out on some hidden gems if I rely too much on AI?
For those who’ve used AI culling tools: Does it really save time, or do you end up checking everything again? Have you ever had AI reject a shot that you later found to be amazing? Do you still manually review the final selection before editing?
Would love to hear thoughts from both beginners and pros on balancing AI automation with creative control!

2025.01.30 22:11 ajax6893 [FoundryVTT][FREE][5e][18+] LFM (looking for up to 4 players) Fool's Gold Into the Bellowing Wilds. Friday/Saturday 6:00 PM PST (UTC-8). Session 0 February 15th.
Required tools: ZeroTierOne (I am not allowed to port forward on my current network and I do not have the funds for a server, so a VLAN between everyone is my best option. Unless you have a different suggestion, in which case I would be glad to hear it!). I tend to use Discord for voice chat, but if need be I can set up other methods of voice chat.
While I normally like to run self-made settings, I like the Fool's Gold setting and want to run a game in that setting. I am looking for up to four players. If you have watched the series on youtube feel free to apply as long as you feel confident you can separate in-game and out-of-game knowledge.
Other information: While it would be nice to come to the game with a general character idea in mind, I'm fine with working with each player to help flesh out the characters, preferably before session 0, but during it if need be. Session 0 will mostly be about setting boundaries and expectations. The one thing I can say ahead of time is that I do not like to have evil characters in the party, as I have a very hard time DM'ing in a way that works with that kind of character. Your character might be rough around the edges, but do not make them straight up evil. My plan is to have session 0 on Saturday the 15th of February at 6:00 PM PST (UTC-8).

I know it’s super early but I want to be sure to order my grad attire in time. Does anyone know if there is a size chart for the gowns and caps anywhere?
I know the gowns are based on height but each height increment has “XL” and “2XL” as well. There are also XL size caps, but no measurements. I have no clue how to go about making sure my grad attire isn’t too big or too small. I’m more on the plus size end for women so I really want to get all this right.

2025.01.30 22:11 Unable-Pressure16 Tips to help someone find their self worth again?
I have not seen my best friend in a long time. She has very clearly matted hair from it being in a pony tail; for quite frankly - I have no idea how long. Please don’t come at me - we’ve never lived this close until now, and I’m trying to help now that I’m aware of the severity of things.
She’s verbally expressed to be that she wears it up bc it’s matted.
Is there anything I can do to help? Short of taking her into a salon? This is obviously is a touchy subject and I do not want to trigger this any further - I want to help.
Tell me any tips. Even if this takes months, I’m for it. Creams, certain combs, masks, etc. I need all the help. I can’t lose her. She’s always lost so much. She deserves herself back.

I’ve been playing bass for about 4 months, i’m coming from 5 years on piano so the concept of keeping time isn’t new to me but i’ve found when i’m starting to reach slight intermediate lines i’m noticing on video my timing is always ever so late. it’s been very frustrating and i even recorded myself clapping and snapping to different drum beats to make sure im not going insane and losing my ability to keep time
it’s got me thinking if the tracks i’m playing are probably above my skill level so some sort of physical dexterity gets sacrificed to learn the notes and it the process i’m losing time? i really don’t know how to phrase this but just looking for advice.

On a call recently, my gf was talking about how there s this guy (Call him jack) who has been pestering her for a while (tried to forcefully kiss her in instances).
The first time she told me about this I told her I'll message Jack telling him to back off and stop this crap. She said no and that she doesn't want me to get involved, and if I did that she would breakup with me because she has some past trauma with stuff like this.
At that point I didn't do anything then and respected her word. Soon I got to know from her that she had told another guy (Danny) who was close to her about this, and Danny without her permissiom messaged Jack asking him to back off. Here s the thing, she was happy about this because Jack did end up backing off for a good while and didn't say anything against Danny. I didn't say much to it at that time because I felt guilty about not doing it myself.
Now, due to complications and Danny being weird with her, she s blocked him off. Jack recently in a way restarted approaching my gf. When she told me about it this tike and I told her I'll messahe him this time to make him backoff she said no. When I asked her why and told her it worked out last time she s said I don't think "you" saying anything would make a difference. Her justification was that im too sweet and nice to actually be able to get him to back off and that Danny was different so his messaging worked. Once again she said if I try she ll block and breakup w me.
This statement kinda hit me hard. I know its long distance and Im far away to actually be able to do much but it just feels like an attack to my masculinity. Im sweet with her all the time and haven't had a reason to show any aggression in front of her but how do I change this view she has? I hate the fact she doesnt believe I can actually get him to back off.

We were a group of 3 friends and our friend passed. It was extremely hard for me as ive known them since childhood and was my best friend. I understand it was also hard for my other friend. We'd talk every day usually and it went from that to me talking to myself for multiple days with no response. Finally we got on a call, and things felt somewhat normal again and he said the talk helped him feel normal and a lot better. We'd text like normal again and then it went ghost again. Eventually i really needed his input for something extremely important and still no response.
I recently finally got a response saying he just didnt want to bring anybody down and that hes been slowly getting better (its been about 2 weeks)
I understand everyone grieves differently and on different time frames but am I wrong for feeling upset, angry and a bit of betrayal for this? I wouldve even appreciated a "hey man sorry if i dont respond that often im just still trying to heal" or anything. I know it prob isn't right but i'm truly being honest about those feelings. I really need some advice here part of me just wants to ghost back i'm so conflicted. Sorry if I also come off as an asshole here im just trying to be as honest as possible about my emotions.

2025.01.30 22:11 Strange_Shadows-45 25, Male. Feeling heart palpitations but every test has come back clear. Don’t know what to do.
This has been going on for almost a year. I started feeling them in late April and had been going on and worsening from then until September. I was feeling bad chest pain, felt like my heart was skipping beats, was getting faint while at work, felt pain radiating to my arm. Went to the ER twice during that time and had additional bloodwork done at my primary. EKGs and echocardiograms. Every single time, it was normal. CMP, TSH, High Troponin, LIPB, CBC tests. Everything came back clear. No indication of palpitations or areas of concern regarding BP or pulse. From September through December I felt really good, the palpitations happened only occasionally and was becoming less frequent and less severe to the point where there was a solid month where I felt nothing at all. I had a cardiology appointment in November and they did a monitor and a stress test. Both indicated no issue. I figured that job was a bigger stressor than I thought (I had been trying to get a new job while they were happening the first time and finally landed one that I enjoy in early Autumn). But now, out of nowhere i started feeling them again everyday this past week. Same symptoms as before and with stomach pain, had to leave work two days in a row. Palpitations are lasting an hour or more. On the second day I was trembling and went to the ER. Same tests as before in addition to a lipase test, EKG, vitals. Again, all normal. I have no idea what to do. There doesn’t seem to be a trigger, I’ve made improvements to sleep and water intake and they seem to come out of nowhere, whether I’m working, exercising or just chilling. They just happen. Anyone have any ideas on what to try or have seen this?

I'm thinking about buying a grow tent, lights, filter, exhaust fan with carbon filter, some humidity controller and clip fan. Im on the budget, so I looked at Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer as they are easily available in EU and are reasonable priced. I want something around 2x4, could be a bit bigger.
Spider Farmer 140x70x200 cm G4500 I like this one, but I would prefer 6" exhaust fan, to keep rpm low and have bigger filter. Size is also perfect. Is 4" fan good enough for this tent or will it run are 100% constantly ?
Mars Hydro FC-4000 EVO & 120x60x180cm LED Grow Light Tent Kits This one is bit smaller and Im not sure about carbon filter as some people mention that Mars makes bad carbon filters.
Prices are much worst when bought separately, so a kit looks like a bargain.
Do you have any other offers that are worth considering ?
