i noticed this even before i began flaring more consistently, but anyone else have this weird, strong urge to push after your initial BM? for me i noticed it’s been happening more now while i’ve been basically flaring more consistently the last 3 months.
i’ll go, then as i wipe (gets complicated too bc of my internal hemorrhoids :/) i have this urge to push n will have softer mush stuff come out that takes forever to wipe… sorry that’s gross. again, usually this happens w/ a flare, but other times when i technically wasn’t flaring, just taking forever to wipe months ago, i would still have smaller pieces of stool come out but no urgent, strong need to push. is this something we get w/ ibs?
i feel silly asking so many questions, but i’ve only had pi-ibs for about a yr n this condition has definitely given me plenty of surprises, to say the least.

Hi!
I'm considering building my own bike for the first time. I want to go for something light weight somewhere in the gravel to road range since it's mostly going to be used for commuting. But as I have to carry my bike up and down stairs I'd like to be significantly lighter than my current 19kg behemoth (at 52cm frame height).
I was eyeing aliexpress carbon frames, but it's very hard to find a review on one that is also currently available, it seems like the cheaper ones might change names a lot?
I wanted to go for internal cable routing, a "by 1" shifter setup with an internal hub gear at the back, want to go with disk breaks and I need an internal dynamo for lights. So I think I might end up with routing issues if the internal finish is bad or the internal space tight. Goal was to end up around 1250-1500€ for the entire build, if it stretches a bit beyond but the bike is great I can live with it, so even by aliexpress standards I'm in the budget range.
Are my concerns justified? Do you have any specific model you can recommend? Honestly, is my goal even halfway reasonable, or should I go aluminium and buy a ready to ride bike?

Title really says it.
My background is in pure mathematics. I took a quantum information course way back which was mainly matrix mechanics and I'm aware of the schrodinger equation, wave functions and the probability as the norm squared. I've never had physics explained well and I dont understand the physical undercurrents or experimental backing. Its just all a nice mathematical game to me, I enjoy the mathematics, but would like to know the debates/interpretations and try to understand the actual physics. I think it's time to grow up here.
What do you suggest I do?

I have an A6 C7.5 3.0T that I want to upgrade from the stock intake. I’m primarily interested in the performance gain, but from every video I’ve seen online, most of the aftermarket intakes with no airbox scream a bit too loud for my liking.
I want to know if there’s a sweet spot in the middle, where it’s not too loud, but also not completely silent. Can I achieve this by with the stock airbox? Does it need modification to fit an aftermarket intake?
Any suggestions and/or intake recommendations?

Hello All,
I personally do not train MMA to be a professional, it’s more of a side hobby I truly enjoy learning and doing. I, right now train at a local school club coached by a local MMA fighter. I think it’s fair to say my striking is decent, although my concern lies in the grappling aspect. My current experience lies in boxing for a year when I was 13 and going to a local Kickboxing/MMA gym for a total of 3 months. We went over submissions and I know the basic white belt submissions like the Kimura, and Americana from side, knowing the basics of full guard and half. My issue is when I specifically go against wrestlers within my club, I submit too easily to being taken down and/or finishing a takedown, mainly due to my lack of knowledge and understanding of balance. I believe the club does not give adequate time towards grappling and drilling and more towards going live, which I am okay with. Although I’d be lying if I said I’m okay with this flaw in my game. The school I go to offers a wrestling club, and I live in Iowa. Should I continue to train MMA wrestling and eventually my grappling will improve? Or would going all into wrestling for this semester be in my best interest to become a more well-rounded fighter?
