Yesterday evening me and my mate went to see the new Nosferatu movie and went for some beers afterwards. At about 1:00 we arrived at a night Club and we're both pretty drunk at this point. The place was packed when we got it and that's when we both noticed a group of Lads with School Uniforms on which at that time is certainly a bit weird but it turned they came from a private School down in North London and were up in Newcastle (where I'm from) to play Hockey. In the smoking area I noticed one of the lads in uniform rolling up a cigarette and I asked him if he could spare me one as I often smoke when I'm drunk, he looked at me and responded 'can you roll?' I told him I couldn't and then he said 'well unless you pay me then no!' I was a little disappointed but I also thought to myself that i at the end of the day it's his choice and even though when I ask most people to spare a fag on a night out 9/10 people say yes but not this guy. About ten minutes later another lad in the same Uniform pushed past my mate and told him to 'get fucked' (still not sure why) and two more off them were mouthing off to some other guys in the toilets. At that point I could see they were a group of entitled little pricks who'd probably never been told no in years but I didn't let it bother to me. Later in the evening I was chatting to a lass in the smoking area, we both talked for a while and exchanged numbers, at the time we both talked about how we were desperate for a smoke and that's when the lad from early who said no to me butted in and in his own words said to the lady I was with 'here you go my darling I'll roll it up and everything'. Clearly he just wanted to impress her the same way I did but still that did annoy me so I said to him 'mate why did you give one to her and not me' and he then just laughed' in my face and told me 'if you snooze you loose old chap'. I'm not gonna lie I came pretty close to punching him for that and basically had to stop myself giving him a right hand to the face, I felt that he'd humiliated me and that he would have deserved it but still I have a job and other things to think about without getting myself arrested and ending up with a criminal record. My freind convinced me to walk away form the situation as I did but on my way out I shouted at him 'mate you're a fucking posh cunt and you won't do shit with her' and then left. My freind and I got pizza after that and then an Uber home. I was pretty annoyed and still am to an extent but still I think I did the right thing by not giving him the satisfaction of hitting him in the face and letting him win. What is everyone's thoughts? (Sorry this is so long btw)

2025.01.30 23:45 The_Magenpie Game won't close and world not respawning properly - possibly connected issues?
Hi there - for the last couple of days the game won't close by itself and I have to shut it down via Task Manager or by stopping it via Steam. I couldn't find a solution anywhere so decided to not worry about it.
However, I've noticed that parts of the game are not loading correctly, as in some parts of the landscape looks flat and resources aren't respawning - the shroud area below Longkeep has not respawned the mushrooms and trees I farmed yesterday.
We have a GPortal server. I've verified files both there and on my own PC but this hasn't helped yet, although it occurs to me that maybe the respawn has to tick over or something.
I feel I probably haven't explained the issues terribly well but really hope someone can help me fix this.

About me: I have just turned 26, am on 100k a year. I rent, save/invest approx $2400 per month.
I currently have a 2013 ford ranger, value estimated at about $20k. It has 170,000 kilometres on the clock, I feel it is just starting to get to that point where it’ll depreciate in value very quickly.
I currently pay $230 a month on the loan, I think there is approx $2k or $3k remaining on the loan.
I am thinking of upgrading to a new ranger, approx $40k in value, which will increase my repayments from $230 a month up to about $450 estimated.
I do use the Ute a lot for camping and those sorts of things.
Is this a stupid idea? I can afford it easily cash flow wise, however my biggest concern is the impact on my borrowing capacity in a couple of years time. However, in my job I do know my salary will start to increase quite sharply in the next couple of years.
Would love to treat myself to something nice to drive around in!

19, M(tF?) I only recently (like around 4 weeks ago) started consciously questioning my gender and after talking to a FtM cousin of mine, voicing my doubts and being put at ease, my mind has moved at light speed and already I cannot envision myself continuing life as a man and feel slight dysphoria/ euphoria (ofc depends on the circumstances). I was always just fine the way I was, though maybe my subconsciousness has been dropping very small hints. I am not a feminine guy and don't see that changing much though, but I think I would like to be a woman.
Should I just put myself on a waitlist? By the time it's my turn in probs 1+ year, I'll have either fully embraced it, or just taken myself off the list.
I am just kinda scared at how fast this all is going for me and am scared I'll make a mistake I might regret, or that I'll regret waiting and having dysphoria.

TL:DR
It gives a hefty chunk of damage reduction all the time. Great for filling in defensive gaps while gearing up in T4.
So I picked up Nagu (generate 100 offering per summon every 5 seconds) pretty early into my minion build. At first I used it with the rune that summons wolves. So every 5 seconds it summons 6 wolves (600 offering cap), great for a minion build. Then when I got to T4 the wolves kinda tapered off so I decided to just try lac at 400 cost (invokes challenging shout). This increases damage reduction and has increased duration with overflow. So I have about 1 second of downtime with this thing giving me about 30% damage reduction. This combo filled the gap of my resistances as I transitioned to bloodwave damage. I'm torn now because 58% damage reduction is a hell of a crutch to give up if I get rid of my pets. But they are definitely not there for the damage any more.

I have a package scheduled for delivery which requires a signature (but not from someone 21+). UPS tried to deliver it while I was at work and left the “Sorry we missed you” notice and checked the signature required box. I followed the instructions on the back of the delivery notice and put it back on the front door where the driver left it. The delivery was attempted the next day and the original notice was still on the door along with another one where the driver had written “Need Signature”. I am so confused? Is my signature on the back not enough? I tried calling customer service and they were absolutely no help whatsoever
