2025.01.31 00:14 lilulufox Flare versus reaction to new meds vs getting sick.. how do you tell?
Hi all. I’ve had a pretty rough few months. I have been on hydroxychloroquine for 3 months with no change yet. I was put on a 5 day Prednisone course that ended 2 days ago. At the same time, I also started diclofenac. My joint pain has been much better this week but ever since last night (shortly after physical therapy) I have been in ROUGH shape. It feels like I am covered in bruises. Not like the achy feeling you get when you’re sick- but like there are bruises everywhere under my skin that hurt so much to touch. Everywhere is SO sore for no reason. It is difficult to move, I feel so heavy. This was after the exact same PT routine I’ve done 2x a week for over a month, no issues. I’m so nauseous as well, and my heart has a much harder time slowing down. I feel OFF.
How do you distinguish between a flare, side effects to meds, or getting sick? I feel like I need medical attention but realistically think there is nothing they can do for me other than spend thousands on tests that will all come back normal. Any input is appreciated.

I saw a similar post about HP Laserjet printer compatibility, so I thought I would check here. If there’s a more appropriate subreddit I should go to, please kindly direct me there!
I am having trouble setting up my old but perfectly functional P1005 with my new Chromebook. When I plug in the USB, there is a pop-up indicating the device “could not be configured automatically.” I am prompted for the model number (P1005 js clearly too old to show up). “Alternatively, select printer PDD.”
Is there any way around this? I know I could be searching for hours without getting answers, so I appreciate any assistance.

I use unique email addresses for many of my accounts. Couple days ago I started getting scam emails from "Ledger" and "Exodus" claiming I need to "secure my wallets", etc. All of these targeting my Ndax email address.
No communication from Ndax, nothing on their website - I just checked. Not seeing anything here either.
About a year ago the same started happening for my Shakepay email. Same behavior - no emails from the company, nobody reaching out. Immature behavior.
Yet, these ... companies demand your biometrics for account creation. The very biometrics that, when compromised, are going to screw you over for the rest of your life.
So, Ndax, what's going on?

I found a 12 V battery self test for Gen 4 Prius on Prius Chat - pressed On/Off twice, but when I got to the next step, it said to hold the "Media" button, then switch the lights on 4x..... but, my 2020 Prius LE does not have a Media button. Does anybody know what button I should try? There is an Audio button, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for.

F20. History of marfanoid CTD, lymphangiomatosis (suspected and to be confirmed in April) suspected due to multiple lymphangioma tumors in spleen (removed two years ago) and a new small mass with similar features appearing in the liver. (Only 7mm as of a month ago, but my spleen one grew fast). Currently I have normal liver enzyme levels.
The last 6 months or so I’ve had weight gain and bloating but minimal fat gain. I’ve spoken with doctors who agree that she doesn’t think I’m gaining fat and the weight gains odd.
She told me to begin calorie tracking so I started today. Today I ate more than I usually do and it only ended up being about 1300 calories (I’m F, 5’9, 150 pounds but I was 140 pounds three weeks ago so idk what’s happening). And yes I counted correctly. I was particular and used a food scale too. I assume I eat anywhere from 1000-1700 calories a day depending on how nauseous I am. I have noticed the weight is going to my stomach nowhere else, and it’s hard as a rock.
The past few days it’s been very bad and painful. I’ve noticed the most noticeable change being the shape of my belly button as if I’m pregnant. (Not sexually active). I get nauseous and can’t eat when it’s like this and it is very often. I’m very sleepy and have low vitamin D as well.
Also I wanna add the stretch marks in the picture ARE NOT NEW. They’re from puberty. I have a marfanoid CTD so my skin has some impurities. I had them even when I was 115 pounds.
I’m worried that this is abnormal or like fluid build up. My weight has fluctuated in the last month from 140-160 pounds on and off. I don’t even wanna weigh myself. My clothes fit exactly the same in the arms and legs. It’s just anything high waisted hurts to wear. I haven’t gained fat elsewhere. Or even fat at all. To press on my belly I need to put a lot of pressure.
Do these images look like just bloating or like, should I be worried my small tumors causing problems or that I have free fluid?
I had a scab a month ago showing mild fluid around my heart, pelvis and there’s a Small intraluminal dense focus within the colon, and a small growth of the liver (lymphangioma most likely). I’m getting a new scab in a few months to see if there’s changes.
Would you be worried?
