I have epilepsy. It sucks. I had a seizure on Sunday and the symptoms continued through Monday and Tuesday. I went to the ER on Tuesday, at my neurologist suggestion. I was asked about my stress levels and I thought they were normal ā¦ fine ā¦ nothing out of normal. Man, now Iām feeling ānormalā again I am realizing just how much stress Iāve been under!!
I canāt read the news anymore. Everything sucks. Everything is bad and just going to get worse. Mentally, I feel miserable!! š«
Tonight Iām going to listen to the New York to Paris Car Race. The Rube would also be another great suggestion. Iām now behind on recent episodes because, like, āreal lifeā sucks š
Iām not alone in this right? Are others falling behind because they canāt deal with reality?? š

So I just came back from college and was on vacation and could finally play my ps5. I was playing a game and in the lobby I had a fun interaction with this person who also spoke Arabic and was Egyptian. After insulting each other in the match in Arabic I messaged him and we bonded over both being Egyptian so I invited him to a mic chat and we talked for about two hours not even playing but bonding over our career paths, ethnicity and even told me whenever I go back to Egypt and he goes the same time that he will show me and my family around which was nice. I basically had made a new friend basically on this game lol which I really never do. We followed each other on Instagram and such so we can continue to play together. He asks if Iāll be on the next day and I said ya. Next day comes and heās on and I ask if he wants play but no answer and went offline. I leave for school that week and come back on Friday and later that day I message on psn if he wanna play and still no answer and invited him to play with some school friends and no answer. So I just leave it but it seems like every time Iām away from my ps5 heās on and then when Iām back from school on weekends itās dead silent. Iām just kinda wondering like is this a sign of avoidance lol we only spoke for 2 hours when we met and he genuinely seem so happy to meet another person like him on the game and wanted to play again but havenāt seen him since . What do you guys think?

Heading to Vegas for the 4th time in march. Never gambled much outside the casino I stay (cosmo previously) as I always go for business conferences for my business with little to no free time. Staying at fountainblue. Plan on doing a casino crawl of sorts for the strip and downtown for fun as I have a day or 2 to myself. Obviously not gonna do all of them but wondering which ones offer you free play for signing up for players club so I can go to those. I know caesers used to give like $15 back in 2017. 2025.01.31 00:22 LewieFastest AITA opponents didnt tell me they were playing precons against my cEDH deck?
Sat down at my lgs )local game store( and told them i was playing a cEDH deck and they didnt inform me they were unfairly playing precons. So after a grueling 15 minutes I used Chakram Retriever, Urza's Bauble and Emry, Lurker of the Loch to draw my whole deck on the next upkeep therefore keeping all my free interaction in my hand. I was able to play Thassa's Oracle and win the game next turn, but my opponents didn't yell at me or complain?? I thought this was commander. Instead they were laughing and having a good time? Almost as if they enjoyed playing magic instead of tournament grinding.
Anyways aita for robbing a bank?

Context: Linux SDL2 C++ / ImGui 1.79 WIP
Please allow me to explain. Let's say I have 5 ImGui windows in the app, and you can use different keys for togger them on/off. Let's say 'a' for window 1, 'b' for 2, and so on. Now that all those keys are valid in every one of the windows, so if I click a in window 3, it toggles window 1 on/off, which is not what I want.
Here is what I want:
- For these windows toggle keys, or flags, or switches, that should ONLY work as flags/switches in a specific window, should NOT work in other windows.
- For a few special keys, such as ESC, I do want it to be "global", i.e. In any sub window, if I click ESC, the Confirm-to-quit dialog should pop up.
For example, right now what I'm doing is:

I tried to do this on my profile as I recently saw that I have accumulated 32 followers, so I thought they'd see my post, but those that I tagged (the ones that have expressed interest in it and have mentioned wanting to receive an ARC copy in some way) have not yet responded. I'll give it a shot here!
The Stork, a supernatural extreme horror (duh!) novella, is now ready to be dished out to ARC readers. I can provide the book by email. It can either be in PDF or EPUB. I posted yesterday about what made me finally want to get sober and there was a ton of good advice. My wife isnāt talking to me very much. In person she sort of talks, but over text, she only answers when I talk about something other than us, but even then itās yea or no or ok for answers. If I say anything about us, she mostly just ignores it. I know that I should expect that, so I guess Iām just wanting some advice on dealing with it from those who have been through this with a partner. Iām having a really hard time with it. I donāt know where her minds at, I donāt know what she wants from me (other than the obvious), I donāt know how much I should share or not share. Iām having a tough time not just blowing the whole thing up just to have some sort of progress. I donāt want that. I love my wife very much even though I know I havenāt shown it. I donāt feel like drinking, but my muscles are tight, anxiety through the roof to almost unbearable levelsā¦it just fucking sucks. I hate that it took this last blow up to see how Iāve been affecting her. I tear up and get choked up so much talking to her in person that I can barely get anything out. Iām sorry, itās just been a rough day. This morning I told her I loved her on my way out the door and I thought she had said it back. I went to work with a little pep in my step, but when I thanked her for saying it to me, she said she didnāt say that, only for me to have a good day and Iāve been going downhill ever since.

Has anyone travelled on plane?
Hi everyone,
I will be relocating to another country in a few weeks and would love to bring my guineas. I have 2 adult male guinea pigs that I donāt know how to bring them along with my dog. I am scared that they will suffer too much during the 7 hour flight. The alternative would be to rehome them with my best friend who is very responsible and has accepted to take them in case I canāt bring them along. Has anyone flown long distances with them and what did you need to do to bring them?
