2025.01.31 01:51 theguyguy121 Eero extender, or can I put another eero?
Hi everyone.
We live in a 1200 sqft apartment and the routemodem is our bedroom closet, and the office is on the other side of the apartment, so the office wifi is not very strong.
I have the eero 6 right now and in the bedroom and living room it’s good but just doesn’t reach the office seemingly.
I did some reading and it looks like people recommend to NOT get an extender and instead get another eero router. The problem I see is that currently the eero 6 is connected via cable to the modem (I think that’s what it’s called) but if I buy another eero to play it in a different location in the apartment, I don’t have another modem and location to plug it to, as opposed to the extender which I only need a regular outlet.
What am I missing?

2025.01.31 01:51 ExtremePresence3030 How do you manage having a successful shopee or lazada delivery with a language barrier?
I tried two times to order from online platforms and the language barrier just caused not receiving the item at all for whatever reason, despite doing my best attempts to use google translate and send a message to the deliveryman.
It's like this, the deliveryman calls you suddenly and says something in Thai and you respond in English since you have no clue and it is risky to say "yes" or "no" in local language since you don't know whether he is requesting you to deliver today or asking for the opposite. So then you go to explain yourself through an SMS in Thai language ising google translator , that you are available to recieve the item or whatever, but you get no response from them, because either the deliverman ignores the messages or he just felt off talking to you on the call which wasn't in Thai language. And the result is you are not receiving the item at all.
How do you manage to make it work?

I NEVER had an issue with it until last year he had subscribed to a few girls OFs and I felt that really crossed a boundary for me. What the hell is wrong with them? Are they really this careless?
I'm at the point now where I've resorted back to eBay because in long run, I'm actually saving money by spending less time getting to the results I want.
What is even the purpose of having a button on an artist page to bring you to the marketplace? There's no way at all to filter by artist so, the only way to find anything is to go through the specific release page but if you're like me and you want to see everything available from the artist, you're going to have to manually open tab for every single release and then go through each tab, choosing the filters/sorting you want.
Ridiculously dumb.
I'm really about ready to just go entirely back to eBay at this point.

It's quite a trivial situation, but am genuinely curious if I am in the wrong here as I'm always about personal change.
In a game, I joined a new clan, and offered to help the owner build it up. He let me help, and so I helped in recruiting for the clan.
He eventually made another clan to branch out once we were getting a bit full. I asked if we were still recruiting for the other clan now, and he agreed after a couple hours.
After our main clan got filled up, I told him we're full, and so I would start focusing on recruiting for the other clan. I then told him I'll be willing to go to the other clan for the time being to help with accepting people into the clan, if he needed me to.
He didn't reply to this message for days, but he is still active as he interacts with others in social chat.
I've honestly been recruiting a lot and even spent money to boost the server for the clan.
I'm just a bit sad cause I put in a lot of effort to fill this clan up and getting ignored when trying to be a bit forthcoming with help. I'm 99% convinced that my actions were being annoying to him, and perhaps he never wanted my help and I was doing too much. So I left the clan to save him the hassle. He hasn't tried reaching out to me yet so I'm certain I annoyed him.
Just wanted to confirm if what I'm thinking is correct, so I know how to change myself to be better.

Last year, my H1B was picked through a small consulting company (XYZ Consulting), and it was approved but has not been activated or stamped. However, I do not wish to proceed with XYZ Consulting as they have been unable to find a job for me in the current market.
