I am relatively new to wet shaving. Coming from catridge and directly jump into this without knowing what I am getting into. R94 is my first blade and after few weeks I get my Henson AL13 medium.
I am very nervous at first and definitely feel the blade of R94 compared to catridge. Took me maybe 30 mins for first shave 😂 and have few nicks on my moustache and neck
Spending SGD 169 is considerable amount for me. So I persistent to keep learning.
Learning about Henson, I am interested to try.
Since Rocca is medium, it is to be fair to compare it with Henson Medium.
Tried to compare both for a week with feather blade. One side with Rocca, other with Henson and switch around for next round to ensure fair comparison as my face have different grain direction and forehand vs backhand shave technique may affect result.
My observations: 1. I can shave faster with Henson with less focus. 2. 2 weeks+ with Rocca, I think my technique a bit improve. So I don’t feel much different in blade feel compared to Henson 3. I still can get nicks with Henson when I do ATG at my neck area. 4. Result around the same for both or slightly smoother result with Rocca. 5. Rocca have better look and feel for me as a razor.
I spent 105 SGD for Henson and returned it.
Am I right to assume that it will only get better with Rocca?
Since this is my new experience with DE, does the experience between razors are significantly different that you guys collecting/have more than 1 razor?

I've had this discomfort feeling in my groin and right T, together with low back pain, for a few months. I initially ignored it due to my history of similar issues. Over 12 years ago, I had pain near my groin and the boy, went through several tests and urologists who couldn't figure out the cause, until an old urologist found out that I had problems with pelvic floor muscles (spasm, etc.). I went through bio-feedback PT sessions and the pain went away, but occasionally came back briefly due to my job (sitting a lot for too long), although now I know how to relax my pelvic muscles. I also have issues with a disc, that cause low back pain from time to time. But this time the discomfort lingered and felt different.
A few weeks ago, I learned about TC. I examined my T's and found at least 2 lumps near my right T, one behind near the top of the T and the other distant from the T, closer to the groin. They are not painful but discomforting. I freaked out and was scared (also because I am now 45 with a family and young kids). I called my PCP office but the earliest appointment is end of March. I called a very large urology group of the largest health system in my area (a large city in the US South), the earliest appt is Feb 20, 3 weeks from today. I asked if they could squeeze me in but they couldn't and only put me in a wait list in case there is a cancellation. Is that too long to wait? I'm scared because I know early detection is crucial. I contemplated ER but this is not an emergency and my health insurance would be happy to decline my claim. Should I wait or should I find another way? I don't know if urgent care can check this type of health issues and can do cancer tests (I think urgent cares are for common issues and illnesses). Any advice is appreciated.

I’m in so much pain. I officially have an appointment with a dermatologist next week. I haven’t been officially diagnosed, but my primary care doctor says she suspects lichen planus, but referred me to the dermatologist to confirm. I have painful sores all in my mouth, especially on the right side. I also have whickam striae soooo… I’ve pretty much self diagnosed. I’ve had this flare-up in my mouth since December 31st.
I guess what I’m here to ask is… how can I prepare for my appointment? What has helped you? And is there anything I can do at home to help the symptoms? I’m honestly miserable. Talking and eating are both painful. I pretty much drink and hold water in my mouth half of the day because it relieves the pain lol

So I today I tried doing better and giving her all the time I could possible give but when we were on the phone it just felt like something was wrong. I kept asking if something was wrong, and she would keep telling me no, but eventually, she told me there was. She said she doesn't feel I love her in any way. She talked about how I shut down some of the things she says, like I have a big head and asked why I used to laugh when she said that, but now I don't. I know I shut some things down now, but I don't want her to, you know, always result in joking around because I know she wouldn't like that if I did that. I asked her what she would want me to do to show that I love her, but she did not know. I mean, I'm genuinely trying my best to show that I do because I hate the constant arguing. I know it's a part of relationships, but I just don't like having a great few minutes and then it changing into an argument. I want to do better in our relationship, and I don't know what to do. I'm just confused and stuck on what I can do to show that I do love her and to show that I actually care.
