 | Hello, I'm very new to the Warhammer 40k tabletop. I know I want my first army to be space marines but I just can't decide which chapter because they're all so darn cool! I've narrowed it down to Salamanders, Space Wolves, and Carcharodons. But in constantly switching between these 3! How did you go about picking your first army, what settled the deal for you? 2025.01.31 04:59 SoftMittens2 Can you safey shoot modern 9mm in a Finnish Lahti L-35?
Title basically, I've always adored L-35 pistols but it seems like they really commonly have frame cracking problems, but I can't really seem to figure out what the source is. Some things I've read say it's because of SMG ammo being put through them, both during their service and afterwards by people who bought surplus SMG ammo, or people putting +P ammo through them.
But I don't know if it's a problem that can crop up with standard 9mm ammo, it isn't helped it seems alot of these pistols probably already have cracks forming because of the various reasons I already mentioned. Another thing that makes infomation more confusing is Swedish Husqvarna m/40s, which apparently were made of poor quality steel during WW2, of course have the same issue but even worse, to the point where Sweden destroyed most they had in reserve. But I wonder how many accounts of L-35s having cracks are from Husqvarna m/40s? The Finnish pistols were made with better quality steel, and one would assume shooting 9mm pistol ammo through them wouldn't break them since they designed for it.. But it's a mess of infomation, but I'm hoping to get some more clear infomation by asking this. Don't want to get a really expensive paperweight, you know?

The weight gain after stopping was almost non-existent for MONTHS. Out of nowhere recently my food noise has returned with a vengeance. I've gained back 10 lbs in a month. Not sure where to go from here as I went into quite a bit of debt just to get to ALMOST my goal weight. Feeling defeated.

2025.01.31 04:59 Physical_Rub1024 Did my supervisor act negligently?
I had a medical emergency(heart related)while working in the field. I called my supervisor who tried to calm me down but it didn't work. I asked him to call 911 but he insisted on getting me to calm down and take deep breaths. He had another call come through and said he'd call right back and would call 911 if I still needed him to. About a minute after we hung up, I called 911 myself, was rushed to the hospital and was intubated due to the medical event. I'm still alive obviously but I wonder if things would have been different, had my boss acted sooner and called 911 when I asked? What are your thoughts and should I fille a grievance with HR?

 | Wanted to post a more detailed look at the convertible duffle bag that's also a garment bag which I really do like overall. It is great to keep one or maybe two outfits depending on thickness overall in the hanging part, folding the pants once on the hanger. Then to have room in the duffle with internal side pockets, the pockets you see on the side flaps of it fully expanded. While expanded you can hang it too, not sure how the flaps would hold up while being hung up unless I'm assuming weighted but they're pretty deep for travel sizes too. and external phone/bottle pockets. Overnight trip, business day trip and you need to change into a dress or scrubs and switch back for the gym, etc. I feel like it's a sturdy zipper too. Hope this helps anyone wondering! I was so curious I had to just get it and I'm glad I did, this is very helpful. I'm sure it'll be a little wonky once you get an outfit in there. Hello everyone,
I am looking for advice. Please bear in mind our family situations. I am at a loss overwhat to do and I am uncertain if I am making the right choice.
Here is my dilemma.
I will turn 26 this year. My mother and father will move out of this mobile home park and into a 55 and over park in 2-3 years. On my own, renting in Southern California is difficult. My partner is also looking to move out because his home life is truly terrible; his dad is a raging alcoholic. My partne’rs friend has described a need to move as well.
A mobile home unit popped up near our area. It would average around 3 grand a month (give or take). My partner and his friend said they wouldn’t mind moving into the unit. We’ve been looking for 2-3 bedrooms and in SoCAL that easily fares over $2500 and often, ADU units with small square footage. Likely, together monthly, this Mobile Home would be around $3000 grand.
I believe I can purchase the home. My partner and his friend are okay with just me being on the title. I have 40 grand in stocks, and I am owed $9000 grand that I can easily get refunded by the person who borrowed; they’re adamant to get me into the home and said they will give me back the money if needed now. I make $1700 a month and my bills are currently $875, without rent, it’s $275.
The Mobile home has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, A/C, heater, brand new, and is over 1000 square feet. I also have a cat and would not want to rehome her, many places aren’t pet friendly.
Am I crazy to want this home? Is this a bad investment? I hear a lot about mobile homes depreciating and I hear a lot that it’s a stupid choice, but for me, it feels like the best one given all these circumstances. I know I don’t make much, but having a new clean place of my own, I am sure will drive me to work harder. Also thinking about not having an apt makes me happy because I have before and dealt with chain smokers and roaches. Do you think I can afford this? Is it stupid to consider?

I know this my fifth question (hopefully my last one for a while) in the last two days and I'm still new at trying to play as a customizer house character.
So I do know that my character don't get claims for any house titles even if I want to roleplay as the Visery the 1 only survivable son with Aemma which is stupid, but you can fix that with the debug.
So is their any more down side with the house customizer trait like not getting major house events/decisions even tho you are apart of the same house or is it only the claims?

So do you guys remember that time in the mid 2000's where lots of indie bands were posting music to Myspace, or something similar?
For the longest time, I assumed since it was on the Internet, it would always be around, but as the years progress: it becomes harder and harder to find songs from these niche bands online.
While I have CDs from a few these bands, currently no longer able to hear songs that used to be available online.
Have any of you noticed or experienced anything like this?
