This is going to be long since I like to ramble. My apologies.
So I (21 F) moved to a new city 4 hours away from home, for school. This was in July of 2024. I didn’t start school immediately, so I decided to get a job and just save up till the next semester started. I had a surgery that prevented me from getting a job for a bit so I started my current job in October. I met this coworker (27 M) and I don’t have many friends here and I don’t go out. I found him on Instagram so I could start talking to people. I should preface. I have bad social anxiety and I don’t enjoy going out. I stay home and hangout with my cat. Well this guy and I started talking, and he lead it in the direction of flirting. I have my own rule of not dating coworkers because it can get messy. But because I’m new and all that with no friends. I thought what is the harm. Me and this guy started talking and hanging out and we eventually hooked up. I ended up telling him that he’s coming on strong and that I didn’t want a relationship. (This has been said since before we started flirting). He got upset and was lying to the other coworkers about me and lying to me about drugs and things he was doing. So I cut it off entirely. He’s mad and still hasn’t spoken to me. But oh well. I’m able to be cordial in our shared work environment. This is where I need the advice. I started to form an actual crush on another person at work (25 M) we will call him Chester. I gave it 2 weeks before I mentioned it to anyone to see if it was an actual crush or if I was just wanting attention. My crush feelings didn’t go away. I talked to a mutual friend/coworker and he told me I should go for it. I started talking to Chester, just in a friendly manner, I made him a bracelet and all that. I ended up getting his number in the most embarrassing way. And he has zero social media. Our mutual friend had to tell him that I was interested in him because Chester doesn’t know when he’s being hit on. And I don’t think he’s ever been in a relationship either. I’m trying and trying to talk to this guy but I don’t know how to continue conversations or take it to the next step of trying to hangout. (Chester also doesn’t go out and hangout). He is a very sweet and funny guy and I think we get along great. But how do I move this along? I don’t know if he’s interested in me but after the mutual told him I was interested Chester started being a little more cutesy in our texts. We have stopped texting for a few days now though. And I’m worried that the coworker I hooked up with told him bad and made up things about me. What do I do?
I’m seeing him today at work. So we will see if his demeanor has changed.
TLDR: how do I start talking to someone if I don’t know if they’re interested?

I (15f) am in a family where almost everyone is kinda fat except from my brother who still has a bit of tummy.
Well a few weeks back I have been gaining weight like CRAZY, I have a slow metabolism and it doenst help that I always feel hungry. I've gained about 17kg or so, I'm now 67kg (I'm 1.65m so you can imagined that I have some tummy.) I woukd say that im obese but I'm definitely not skinny.
Well my father, has been bodyshaming me quite a lot lately, mind you he is about 98kg and he measure 1.78m, so he has a BIG tummy, he has been calling me a rolling ball and just mean ass comments that most of the times have made me cry.
A week ago or so, we were all eating and I served myself a second plate cause that tortilla de patatas was finger-licking. Well my father looked at me and with a smirk on his face said that "I could eat the whole kitchen" which made almost everyone laugh, I just stood there, I looked him up and down and said "you would eat a planet if you could", his smirk went away instantly and he looked down, my family started to yell at me saying that I was stupid for making a comment like this, my mother grabbed me aside and told me to apologise, I told her that if he does it most of the time then why doesn't he have to apologise and she told me that he was my father and could say wtv he wanted to me.
I'm kinda mad and now everyone expects me to apologise but I think that he should apologise to me
