2025.02.01 18:52 ShitsGotSerious I need help with calibration please. I just want to shred but nothing I do lets me play the game.
No matter what I do, I cannot hit a single note. I have dialled both the audio and video calibrations from -200 to +200 in 10ms increments with no luck. I can see the notes are arriving to the bar at different times due to the calibration, but I cannot hit them. The controller is working as the keys are lighting up their respective colours I just cannot hit a single bloody thing.
I've messed with the calibration settings in the profile option, no luck. Do I need to use of combination of both profile and game calibration?
When I calibrate it automatically, I get wildly different results despite clearly getting a "detected" message when I hit in time with the metronome. It's gone from +37ms to -22ms then back up to +2ms to then stay around that mark. Try out a song and nothing.
I've tried changing my screen response time but to be honest, I'm just grabbing in the dark now.
What am I doing wrong? I can't find any info searching Reddit. There's things about calibration issues but nothing about hitting absolutely nada, not a single point scored even if I mash a button. ChatGPT is telling me to change settings that don't exist, so that's great.
Please, I beg, help me. The metal Gods need appeasing with tasty riffs.
Controller: PS4 pad run through DS4Windows to connect it. (I ordered a guitar from eBay and realised I'd bought a 6 fret one. Plus it was sticky.)

I believe the oldest known personification of the concept of "evil" comes in the form of Angra Mainyu in Zoroastrianism. Interestingly enough, the Jewish people would have a lot of contact with, and a positive view of Zoroastrians after Cyrus the Great liberated them from the Babylonians. So it makes sense to me that through cultural exchange, the Jewish people would learn about Angra Mainyu and the idea of a "cosmic bad guy" and so start trying to incorporate it into their own mythology. But what interests me is that Satan isn't the first attempt to create this figure. And even more interesting is that it seems like these proto-satanic figures later on gets assimilated with Satan, and their names becomes synonyms for him.
Asmodeus as a king of demons appears in multiple stories including the book of Tobit. The figure Beelzebub, is just a nickname for one of the Israelites rival tribe's god Baal.
Then there are the fallen angel stories. We start getting references to Lucifer, the angel who led the rebellion in heaven before creation. But we also get fallen angels in the book of Enoch like Samyaza and Azazel. And in even other places we get the figure of Samael as the incarnation of evil.
What do you make of this? Have i gotten anything wrong? If so, please correct me.

Sutton is my idol and I got tickets to her show for my birthday. Unfortunately, as shocking as this is to say for me, but it was quite underwhelming. First, she sounded fantastic. She tends to struggle with high belts but she shocked me with how high she went and how strong she sounded.
But the song selection was SO boring. Idk if she catered to the older crowd on purpose, because most of the audience was 60+. But she did a lot of standards and barely any Broadway and NO Millie!!!!
Just curious what other people thought. Also I wanted to know which song she sang from songs for a new world because I did like that one!

I was thinking of putting like 10% in VHYAX thinking it might be a little safer then say VTI. I'm 29 and was curious if that would be a safer bet than vti and I believe covers mostly non tech things. I was thinking with my age I didn't really need bonds but VHYAX would be safer then vti or voo. Or am I over thinking this and just go vti/vxus and call it a day?

All games had 11-20ms ping time and only one felt like a lower ping game. All the others felts like 500ms more or less.
