Hello, a few days ago I upgraded from my GTX 1060 to an RTX 5080 (The rest of my computer is an R7 7800X3D, 64GB RAM, 850W Seasonic PSU) and I'm having a problem with the (un)utilization of my graphics card. It never gets 100% usage, and if it does it's only for the first few seconds in a game and then gradually drops to 50-30% even though I have it set to max power in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Sometimes I also experience small microlags, but never due to CPU utilization. Could you please advise me what to do about this?

2025.02.01 19:50 457alineee got rejected for surgery
My surgeon sent me to do the sleep study which came back negative. I did not reach the AHI which should have been over 20 at least for him to perform DJs. When I went into the surgeons office he was straight up “Nope sorry there’s no way I’m doing the surgery on you, you’re fine”. That was it. I tried to talk about all the issues I experienced the last few months: not having enough space for my tongue, incorrect swallowing, TMJ issues, snoring, forcing my lower jaw forward, etc… nope didn’t even care nor look at the scans from my ortho. I’m devastated. Not sure what to do. My ortho gave me a camouflage treatment, surgeon rejected me, there’s just no other way for me to get a referral for a new surgeon… please help. What can I do? I need this surgery. I cannot give up. Not with all those problems. I feel like no one understands me. Not even family or friends. It’s so draining

Hi, 3 of us girls live in a lovely large house. However, the walls are paper thin, if someone's in the room directly under me watching tv it's so loud as if it's in my room which is annoying. When my roommates bf is over they're very loud and obnoxious and it goes through every wall in the house. They were in the room under me laughing and shouting and being obnoxious and I had to leave the house and visit my parents to get out of there. Me and the other housemate said we had issues with him staying midweek because the noise of her mattress wakes us all up. Me and other room mate are always exhausted from work and need at least 8 hours, however he sometimes comes over mid week after 10pm, they start cooking then the shower goes off at 11pm, which keeps us all awake, it's very annoying I've already asked her to maybe stay at his mid week if they want to get down n dirty but he's there literally Thurs-mon every week and they're so bloody loud it's making me so uncomfortable and annoyed in my own home. Bare in mind she's my best mate and we've already had talks about him being over too much

 | Hello everyone. I recently sold my lease very early to a Honda dealership. (had to pay negative equity directly to the dealer). I log into my honda financial account and it’s completely paid off now. It also does state i can’t make payments anymore because the account is closed. I signed a release of liability, wholesale purchase order, power of attorney and vehicle/ vessel transfer and reassignment form with the dealership. I called the dmv and asked if i was still registered under the car, they said yes, you and Honda lease trust. Obviously i don’t have the car anymore and Honda financial did say they mailed out the title like three days ago. ( to the dealership that bought it). Do i have anything at all to worry about? Will anything come back to bite me? Can I purchase a car without having to worry about the car the dealership bought out from Honda financial? I already canceled insurance. Am i just overthinking everything? Been really stressed lately.  | I think It would be cool if the player could design science and construction ships, just like we can with military ships. Here's what I came up with: Science Ship Hulls Same as the vanilla science ship, but with an E slot and an extra A slot. A lightly armed ship for fleet scouting. Trades its E slot and one of its A slots for a single S slot. Construction Ship Hulls Only one construction ship hull. Same as vanilla, but with a C slot. The core modules for these ships haven't changed: Reactor, FTL, Thrusters, Sensors. Civilian ships do not get combat computers. Utility slots are also the same: S slots are for small armor, shields, or hull components. A slots are for auxiliary components such as afterburners, cloaking, etc. The main difference is that civilian ships now have "weapon" slots (they are really more like tool slots). S slots are the same as vanilla: put a small weapon there. E slots are exploration slots: See below C slots are construction slots: See below. Note: Science ships do not need the corresponding module to do each action. The just do the actions more effectively with the module. Note: Construction ships do not need the corresponding module to do each action. The just do the actions more effectively with the module. Some additional notes: - Scout Hulls might be extremely overpowered, since you can just spam a bunch of armed science ships that don't take up fleet capacity. I don't think this would be a huge issue, since they cannot be organized into fleets. I case it is an issue, I came up with two solutions. The obvious solution is to make scout hulls take up fleet capacity, maybe 0.5 or 1. Another solution is to make scout ships unable to fire without a science officer assigned to them; you can build thousands of science ships, but you can't recruit thousands of scientists. - The economy module does not affect the influence cost of starbases. - Economy and Efficiency Module bonuses do not apply to megastructure sites. - The build time reduction of the Mega Engineering Module applies to the megastructure site. You can also place a ship with this module in orbit of a megastructure site to speed up each of the build stages.
