2025.02.01 20:51 DopeSuplex evap vp extremely high ?
can anybody else me why everytime i run the live data stream my evap vp is running this high ? is this normal ? my car constantly throws the p0455 large evap leak
and if it’s worth mentioning ; on a different scanner tool that same number was registering as -8000 once. but on this tool it registered as positive 8000. can someone help point me in the right direction . i’ve been told it could be the fuel tank pressure sensor . i also smell gasoline through my vents while driving from time to time , but i don’t see any gas leaks under my car

2025.02.01 20:51 GroundbreakingTea182 I fixed it. Removed locking nut to fix string spacing on hard tail floyd style trem. (More explanation inside)
 | For a couple years I've been dealing with the low E string being to close to the edge of the fretboard and it bothered me and I wouldn't play this guitar as much. The high e was close as well but not as close as the low e. The string spacing was just way to wide. Maybe wider then a normal jackson because of the different nut they use on this model. The low e notch is wider then normal so you can run a bigger string but when you run 10s it sits at far side of the notch unlike normal locking nuts I've seen. This is a Mick Thompson soloist and it has his signature bridge design. It's a Floyd but it's just the main bridge plate bolted to the guitar and has no movement to it. Not to long ago I removed the locking nuts so I could downtime or whatever. That seemed to make the string spacing worse. I had a cheap multi pack of nuts laying around from fixing an older acoustic. I used one of those as a cheap easy temporary solution to figure out if changing the string spacing would save this guitar. It still needs some fine tuning but I think I fixed it and I'm probably going to order a graphtec nut or a bone nut cus I kinda like the color being white now for some reason. Right now it's a 43mm acoustic nut that's been sanded down so it's not as tall and one drop of super glue. The rest of the locking nut shelf doesn't bother me and if I want I can pull the foam down to cover it if I really wanted but I don't care. I probably would have waited and got an r2 nut if it was a real floating bridge. I have thought about routing out the body to put in a gohtoh Floyd but i kinda like having it as a hard tail. I feel like this guitar should have came with a standard nut and just use locking tuners instead. I have locking tuners as well that came on it when I bought it used a couple years ago. I put Micks newer signature fishman set in it a little while ago and it's pretty sweet now that I fixed the nut. Someday I'd like to put stainless frets on it if the truss rod holds up. It's basically maxed out running 10s in e standard trying to have an almost flat board at tension. This post will be a defence of the Orthodox doctrine of Saintly Intercession against Protestant claims of idolatry. In this post I will be responding to common protestant objections.
"You're praying to dead people"
Yes, the Saints are dead, but they are alive in Christ and in Heaven. They are actually more alive than us on Earth.
"You can just pray to God directly"
- There is a reason to ask prayers from Saints. James 5:13-18 clearly tells believers to pray for one another and displays the power of prayers. James 5:16 says "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." The Saints, being in Heaven, are Sanctified and greatly righteous, and verses 17 and 18 show the power of a righteous man's prayer "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit."
- In order for the Protestant to be logically consistent, when someone is having a difficult time in their life and asks for your prayer, tell them "Don't ask me for prayer, pray to God directly!"
- This is a word concept fallacy. When Paul speaks of mediation, he is speaking of Spiritual mediation, that Jesus is the only man who can bridge the gap between God and Man.
- According to this argument, the Bible contradicts itself. If all mediation between God and man is through Jesus Christ, then how can Protestants explain Amos 7? Or Exodus 32? Amos and Moses intercede with God not to destroy Israel in these chapters.
We'll, Luke 15:3-10 says that Angels rejoice to events on Earth. According to Protestantsim, how do they know?
"Where in the Bible does it say to Pray to Saints?"
Most people who believe in this doctrine aren't Bible alone. Where does the Bible say that everything we believe must be in the Bible, it's self refuting. We have other authorities distinct from the Bible.
I'll probably remember some arguments and add them but for now, this will do.
