 | Hi, I’ve been shooting with the Pentax K1000 for my class, but I wanted to get my own film camera. I found an ST605N for $50 at my local thrift store. Unfortunately, the lens crumbled as soon as I got home—I’m guessing due to dry rot. Does anyone have recommendations for a good replacement lens? Also, when I removed the lens, a piece fell off inside the camera. Should I try to reglue it, or is it safe to remove? I don’t want to break anything. For me personally, I love the map of Verdun heights. I really just enjoy the map layout and scenery, the music is also very good. I will say defending is 10 times more fun compared to attacking.

2025.02.01 22:09 Both_Flow_4446 New Kid - erklärt ihr mir ein paar Dinge?
Hallo miteinander, ich bin neu hier. Und auch ziemlich neu in der ganzen Investmentsache. Habe erst Anfang des Jahres angefangen mein Portfolio aufzubauen, mit Einnahmen aus einem Immo-Verkauf. Einzeltitel und Pferdewetten sind nicht so mein Fall, ich halte mich lieber an ETFs. Habe den Großteil meines Startkapitals inzwischen auf einen Schwung Acc ETFs verteilt, teils mit, teils ohne US-Techwerte, um möglichst breit diversifiziert zu sein. Dazu nur ein ganz kleines Kleckschen (ca je 3%) Crypto und Gold. (Witzigerweise ist bis jetzt das Gold noch der rentabelste Posten, überlege ob ich da noch mehr reinstecken soll.)
Jetzt könnt ich euch vorstellen, wie ich bis gestern mittag noch gejubelt habe "Juhu allein im Januar 2700€ Plus gemacht!", nur damit dann ab ca 17 Uhr die Hälfte der Monatssteigerungen wieder vernichtet wurden. Bei der Rechechere warum das so ist bin ich dann auf den Begriff "Fettbürger" gestoßen und so bin ich hier gelandet. xD
Anyway: Ist das immer so? Also dass zum Wochenende die Kurse erstmal gewaltig fallen? Jede Woche, jeden Monat?
Naja wie dem auch sei. Überlege mir jetzt, ab kommender Woche ein wenig mit dem Hl. Amumbo zu "zocken". Also, klar, ihr lacht da wahrscheinlich drüber, aber ich stell mir das ungefähr so vor, zum Wochenenanfang so sagen wir mal 10k reinzustecken, das dann ein paar Tage laufen zu lassen, und dann spätestens Freitag Nachmittag wieder abzustoßen. Kostet ja nur 1€ pro Order. Gut oder Schnapsidee?
(Und ja, ich weiss dass wenn es gut läuft, ich ziemlich schnell in die Kapitalertragssteuer reinschlittere, aber mei - das wird ja dann bei der Steuererklärung alles verrechnet)
Mein Portfolio ist jdf noch nicht so ganz fertig. Es liegt noch mehr auf dem Tagesgeld rum als ich brauche, ich bin mir aber unsicher was ich am besten damit mache. Teilt ihr die derzeitige allgemeine Skepsis ggü US-Techwerten, oder seid ihr der Ansicht dass die auch weiterhin gut laufen werden?
Mein Primärziel ist eine Rendite von mindestens 12% zu erzielen, wenn es mehr wird beschwere ich mich freilich auch nicht.
Vorsorglich versichere ich schonmal, dass ich nichts was hier geschrieben wird als Anlageberatung auffassen werde und wir uns einfach über Meinungen und Erfahrungen unterhalten. =)

2025.02.01 22:09 Tygpro10 I added a rifenery to my Minmus base... on the frozen ocean.
 | So this is kinda a continuation of my first post. I added a refinery to the base, I hadn't yet unlocking scanning tools in the tech tree so I didn't know there was no ore on the frozen ocean haha. Luckily it was mainly meant decorative so i'll just pretend like nothings wrong. I've also acted on some tips I had gotten for the deployed science experiments, i've added a deployed communications satellite and a few more solar panels and the deployed science still is not transmitting its data even after waiting for a few days. 2025.02.01 22:09 Candid-Extension6599 AITAH for trapping my family in a room with a dangerous airborne chemical?
My family went on a trip yesterday, and I have 5 younger siblings, so we needed 2 hotel rooms. I was bunked with 2 younger siblings, while my parents and the others slept in room #2?
I was still on my phone around 3 AM, when I heard some commotion in the hallway directly outside our room. A few people were arguing, but it was muffled, I couldn't gague anything. Eventually I got up so I could call the front desk about it, but then I felt it
My eyes and nose were suddenly under attack. There was no scent, just pain. I woke up my siblings and told them we needed to run, to the emergency exit for safe air. Halfway there though, I had a scary thought, what if the rest of my family is asleep in room #2? I don't know what this chemical is, what if its capable of killing somebody without waking them up?
So I ran back, pounded on their door, and took off for the emergency exit. I waited in the cold with my younger siblings, trying to breathe it out, but I got scared, cause the rest of my family took a long time to escape. It turns out they were awake and heard the commition outside. Then when they heard me pound on their door, they thought I was the attackers. They shouted whos there, but I didn't hear it, because I ran away to try and escape the chemical
Because of me, my family was trapped in there for nearly a minute, including my 3 year old sister, whos probably traumatized. We think that it was bear spray (basically a pepper spray grenade), meaning there won't be any permanent damage to us, but it was still agony at the time
Why did I have to pound on that door, my panicking caused so much more pain than necessary, and probably traumatized my sister. Evacutating my little siblings was so scary, I wish I knew the chemical wasn't lethal. Trying to comfort my baby sister was so hard, she was shaking so much she thought she was cold. But she was warm to the touch, she just didn't know how to process how scared she was

Hey everyone wanted to give everyone an update from my last post about hanger. The appointment went great and so have the subsequent ones and I'll have my leg to take home on Monday. I am so excited and will share pics of what it looks like when I get it. As for the question, has anyone had any dreams post surgery about walking, but not walking normally. In my dream I know I don't have my foot but I am still walking around but telling myself to be careful because I don't have a leg. It's very strange and was wondering if I was the only one having those?
