2025.02.02 00:52 MrCasualKid UNIMIG 205 smart set mig problems
 | Gday fellas, in my last post I showed my unimig 205 & have been having trouble getting the mig torch to work, I’m pretty sure it’s the extension cable I’m using as its only rated for 10 amps & this welder is 15 amps. I’m using an “amphibian” 15amp to 10 amp adapter & plugging that into a extension cord roll, long story short I can plug the adapter straight into the wall but I’d just have to relocate my whole machine(I’m a lazy cunt) I’ve taken the mig gun apart & everything seemed clean as well as given the grounding clamp a good go over with the wire brush as well as tried every setting on my machine. Gas comes out of the nozzle & the wire feeds with no problem but the wire stays cold. We're headed on a short 3-night cruise to Ensenada this coming weekend. Question for anyone who's done this cruise during this time of year... is it pretty cold? I was anticipating spending a lot of time at the AO Solarium but with it being open air, I'm thinking it might be too cold to enjoy it much.

I have been going through allergy desentizarion over the past 5 months for dust and will be starting grass this March. Someone on a forum had said there was a rapid densitization method where you get a bunch of injections in one day and its like having a year of being on the tablet. Has anybody done this? What is your experience? Does it work for grass? Is there a marker or test to really tell if any of this is working?

 | I’ve never had a positive test before, let alone a faint line positive so I truly have no idea if I’m seeing things or not. I know the camera didn’t catch it well, but it looks the tiniest pink in person. I’m going to try again with a FR tomorrow bc I know this brand isn’t great but I’m still freaking out a little. Just a background, I have irregular af periods and am on the mini pill so I have no idea when I would have ovulated. I do know my period is 20 days late according to Flo, but again, my periods are irregular and never go by that algorithm anyways. With OCI coming up, I want to ask: what are the most and least competitive biglaw markets.
Specifically, I’m at an east coast t6 with pretty unimpressive grades. I’d like to end up in Chicago (lived there for a while and have family there). I grew up in a midsized city with some biglaw offices. Should I apply mostly NY since it’s just so big? Should I focus on Chicago since it’s my goal? Should I try in my home market? I’m scared of striking out so I want to maximize my chances.
Any and all advice appreciated!

2025.02.02 00:52 Prestigious_Hunt_876 Trying to save this hoodie. Could I dye it Carolina blue to make it all solid?
Initially this hoodie had two orange stains. After looking up many stain removal tips I first spot cleaned it with spraying warm dawn soap water then applying a paste of warm water and color safe Purex powder (Oxi). After washing it the first time, the inner part of the hoodie was bleached and I still don’t know how when I used non-chlorine bleach. I then tried spot cleaning with a toothbrush and a dab of chlorine bleach. It did remove the stains but also created vibrant white spots. At this point it’s a mess so I then gave it a oxi bath using the same color safe Purex powder in a plastic bin of warm water. After 12+ hours I wrung out the hoodie and it got even worse. Orange spots suddenly appeared and I still don’t know what went wrong. I thought maybe dyeing the hoodie Carolina blue to match the lettering and patch up the bleach in the hoodie. Maybe this can save it but I would really appreciate a second opinion from someone who is experienced in dyeing. Sorry for huge story but maybe someone could also correct me on where I went wrong.

Title essentially, the aquarium store quoted a tank for me and placed two filters, a 20 gal fluval filter for my tank, and a small sponge filter with a airpump. I plan on building a 10 gallon so would both be necessary or could I get away with just the Aqua Coop sponge filter?

2025.02.02 00:52 Key-Wish-4814 How do you deal with reflux and crying after every single feeding, for two hours?
Our 6 week old has been having reflux for about two weeks now. We tried probiotics for a week, holding her upright for an hour after feedings, gently bouncing her, paced bottle feeding, and I’ve cut out dairy and soy from my diet along with spicy foods.
It feels like we’ve tried everything except actual medication, which the doctor doesn’t want to try yet unless it is more severe.
It’s getting really hard, I’m so overwhelmed.

 | We are having our master shower redone and had originally picked a 24x 48in tile for the back wall. The week the shower was supposed to be started the contractor said they couldn’t get the tile in that size but could do 24x24 in. They never came out and measured (said that since they built the house they had all the bathroom measurements). The 24x24 however left a small gap at the top that they want to cover with a piece of onyx flat trim. We had asked if the tile would reach the ceiling the first time and they assured us that it would. We don’t love how the trim would look at the top. Should we have them remove the back wall and use a different tile or is the flat trim really the best option? They already had to put a flat piece on the bottom because the shower pan didn’t fit the same dimensions as the previous insert.
