I’ve played sims my whole life. Always seen stuff about the mods but just never committed to learning to how to get them.
Can someone tell me how I can get mods and explain the different ones and how they work? I know this might be asking for a lot lol but I genuinely have no idea how they work.

 | I’ve been considering dying my hair strawberry blonde/some variation of reddish-blonde, but I got into a discussion with friends last night about it and several thought it wasn’t worth doing because they already think my hair has red undertones (AKA I should be going for a different color). I was always told by my hair stylist my hair is dark blonde, but I was getting anywhere from reddish blonde/dark blonde/light brown from this discussion based on which friend I asked. I can sort of see the slightly reddish look some friends were talking about in the sun, but most of the time it looks dark blonde to me. So first off: what the heck is my natural hair color? And is it worth going for a strawberry blonde color or should I be thinking something more drastic? This is my first time dying and I’m nervous. All input welcome and appreciated. Hi all. I’m a totally novice when it comes to record players. I love vinyl, but have always used cheap all in ones, or no name random brands that come with speakers. The one I have now is starting to go out and I’m in the market for a new one and would like to kind of do it proper this time. As in getting a stand alone player and speakers and all of that. After doing some looking, I want to experience the most I can out of my vinyl, but don’t want nor can I drop $2,000 on a player and speakers. I’m looking for recommendations for everything that I would need and for the best possible experience with a price point of around $500-$600. Not too sure if this is a tall ask or if I’m being naive, but any and all help would be much appreciated!

Hey pen friends!
So I use primarily dip pens - glass or interchangeable nibs - for line art illustration and calligraphy, because I have a preference towards using high shine and shimmer inks like the Diamines and Van Diemans.
I’ve seen a few people talk about magnetic or vortex auto mixeshaker machines to combine these kind of heavier particulate inks so you’re not rebottling and stirring/shaking every time you re-dip and want to ensure you’ve got the fully blended effect of shimmers.
Can anyone recommend a good machine for this? I’ve found some specifically for tattoo inks, or vortex mixers for science purposes, but would love to know if anyone on here uses them and if so which ones!

My Sim will walks over to her, but then the time always stops on 1:05 PM, and my game freezes on this screen. I can still hear the TV going, though, and I can even click on the different speeds and hear the sound that they're working. It's like the game is still running, but my screen is frozen? 2025.02.02 02:01 lillanon Interested in buying a Medieval Madness remake, questions about maintenance, availability, etc.
Hello everyone. So I was wondering if anyone could help answer a couple of questions. I have nerve owned a pinball machine, but always loved playing them when I was a kid.
Ive looks at different ones and since I like the fantasy and knights/castles genre I wanna look into getting a medieval madness game.
My questions are
- If I can get a new one, should I grab it now or do you tink they will continue to come out with new remakes every so often over the course of the next 20 years.
- Having never owns a pinball machine and not having any other electrical/engineering experience, how easy are these machine to trouble shoot and fix if someone were to break or go wrong.
- When you buy a new machine, I assume it comes in a box and you have to assemble it yourself. This kind of goes back to question 2, are they easily out together? And is it possible to just buy one and keep it in the box as I know I won’t have time currently to play and want to get it to have for when I have time later in life (which ties into question 1).

So, this just happened, and I am freaking out.
A few weeks ago, I applied to a bunch of jobs online—nothing fancy, just looking for something to pay the bills. One of them got back to me super fast. No interview, no reference check—just an email saying, "Welcome to the team. Report to the office on Monday."
Weird, right? But I was broke, so I figured, why not?
Monday rolls around, and I show up at this fancy office building. There’s a fully furnished desk with my name on it. A work laptop. An ID badge. But here's where it gets weird—nobody knew what my job was.
I asked the receptionist—she just smiled and said, "Oh, you must be from corporate." Corporate what?
My "boss" introduces himself, shakes my hand, and goes, "Glad to have you onboard." I ask him what exactly my role is, and he just laughs and says, "You know, the usual. Just keep doing what you're doing."
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING.
For the past two weeks, I’ve been showing up, sitting at my desk, occasionally typing random stuff into Excel to look busy. My bank account? They’re paying me. And not just a little—WAY more than I expected.
I tried looking up the company, and… it doesn’t exist. The website is a single landing page with no real info. No LinkedIn presence. Nothing.
So, now I’m sitting here, making more money than I ever have, at a job I don’t understand, for a company that might not even be real.
What do I do? Quit before I end up in some government conspiracy? Or ride this out until someone figures out the mistake?

In the meanwhile I'm waiting my CX cards, I opened my VHS (simple PAL device, not Hi-Fi neither) in order to check the RF Tap points.
I have 3 initial questions for the moment:
- It's correct then to connect my self to the floating bar named TP106 - PB.FM?
- Since it's a mono device, the TP2253 - A.PB.FM is not present for this reason, correct?
- Due the fact that's a mono device I understood that I need one card only for the moment since Video and Audio are extracted using only one RF. Right?
