Hi watchmakers, i have recently purchased a vintage Girard perregaux chronograph but i’m 99% sure the dial is refinished and the hands got swapped. I’m looking for a replacement dial thats original. Its a ref 22209 with a UG 281 movement, the ref was also made by UG so a UG dial would also be fine for me. What is a place to keep in mind when looking for the dial? So far i’ve been looking mainly on ebay but maybe someone knows a better place to search It!
I know it will be almost impossible to find the correct dial to the ref so a original dial that fits would already be a major improvement imho!
I hope someone could give me a tip so i can improve my chances at finding a good dial! With kind regards.

I’m having an issue with my Samsung 7 NP730XBE notebook and could really use some help troubleshooting. Here's a breakdown of the situation:
- Model: Samsung 7 NP730XBE Notebook
- Problem: The screen is dark, but the laptop itself works fine when connected to an external monitor (so the issue seems to be isolated to the built-in display).
- Suspected Cause: I'm almost sure it's not a software or motherboard issue. I don't think this model has an inverter board, so I’m leaning toward the LED backlights or something related to the connections to them.
- What I’ve Tried: I haven’t noticed anything major happening between when the screen worked and when it stopped working. It seems like something might’ve just gotten dislodged or loosened.
- What I’ve Checked:
- The fuse is not the problem (couldn’t spot one, nor did I find a blown fuse).I don’t think this model has a replaceable CR2032 battery, as some websites suggest. The only component that seems to be supplying power to the screen is a part labeled “model: stella LCD_FPC.” This part runs through the hinge, is soldered to strips that likely provide power to the backlights, and connects to a small Intel part.
- What is this “stella LCD_FPC” component, and could it be the culprit of the issue?
- If this part is the problem, what’s the best way to replace it?
- Has anyone encountered this specific issue before or had success fixing a similar problem with the NP730XBE?

Hello all, hope you’re having a good weekend. Was hoping someone could help me choose a motherboard, as I’ve gotten lost in the sauce going around in circles for some days now.
I’m trying to do an all white build, and I’ve come down to either the 870 Steel Legend wifi or the MSI 870 TI EDGE Wifi. The reason for my indecisiveness is, while the MSI is the better board spec wise, I hear and read a lot of frustration over MSI bios problems, or things not posting. On the other hand, ASROCK seem to just work, and seem to be deemed as the reliable ones in recent times. Part of me wants to even say screw the all white thing, and wait for a AsRock Nova to be restocked, so that I get the best of both worlds.
Please let me know what you would do in my position, so that I can be done with the overthinking lol. Here is my part list, in case that matters to anyone.

My inner bike tire was punctured a few months ago and I got the thing replaced at a shop. Rather than replace the front tire with normal Schrader valve that have on my back tire, the guy put this in. However it doesn't seem to be presta either, and I see nothing online about "angled bike tire valve". I'm no expert in bike maintenance (I only just read up on presta vs shrader) but is this a random part the guy screwed into here? Is this actually presta? Frustratingly, all the air came out when I removed it (visible in photo)

I need advice if there is just some more obvious counter I’m not seeing. But having to go against 3 support ults and never getting value off of ultimates or abilities is becoming extremely boring VERY quickly.
Team fights last too long, game changing ultimates have no value at all, same heros every game. Just feels like season 1 is moving in a very annoying direction.
