My (25) boyfriend (23) broke up with me out of the blue and none of his excuses made sense to me. For context- We are long distance (1.5-2 hour drive away so really not that bad). He took transit to see me for the weekend. I was so looking forward to getting to spend time together. He asked me to pull over 2 mins after picking him up and told me he wanted to break up. He basically said he couldn’t do the distance for who knows how much longer. He said that he doesn’t want to force me to move to where he lives one day (even though I already said I would). He said that he doesn’t have any time for himself and when we spend time on the weekend he isn’t able to do what he actually wants to be doing. He also told me that he thinks he used to love me more and now he thinks I love him more and he doesn’t know what changed. I am so incredibly blindsided and hurt. He told me he had been thinking about this since we last saw each other (2 weeks ago). He had been saying he loved me every day since, acting normal and calling me the usual pet names. We called every night still. I’m so hurt that he had been thinking about this that whole time while still acting the same.
I gave him all my love and put in so much effort to make our relationship work while we are apart. When I love someone- the distance doesn’t matter and I will do anything I can to make it work (I know the distance won’t last forever). I don’t understand where it went wrong. I missed him when we were apart but we both put in the effort to see each other most weekends, if not every other. We seemed so happy while we were together, laughing and enjoying similar interests. Relationships are all about compromise and I’m really struggling to understand why he all of a sudden decided I wasn’t enough to deal with our minimal differences (I like travelling every once in a while while he doesn’t, the distance). He had never once communicated to me that anything was wrong so there was no way for me to fix anything. I am so hurt and just sending this to the void in case anyone’s going through the same thing and needs to feel less alone.

2025.02.02 01:50 donny_twimp What is this valve?
My inner bike tire was punctured a few months ago and I got the thing replaced at a shop. Rather than replace the front tire with normal Schrader valve that have on my back tire, the guy put this in. However it doesn't seem to be presta either, and I see nothing online about "angled bike tire valve". I'm no expert in bike maintenance (I only just read up on presta vs shrader) but is this a random part the guy screwed into here? Is this actually presta? Frustratingly, all the air came out when I removed it (visible in photo)

Anywho, for those of you who post the same items on multiple sites, do you change your price based on the listing app? If so, have you ever received feedback from buyers that they saw your posting on another site for less? I have a distinctive background and really don’t want to take different photos for different apps and know with the varying fees I can make more on other sites.

A private conversation between my wife and me was overheard by our teen daughter this morning, and I’m not sure what to do next.
After returning from the gym, in the garage after getting out of the car, my wife mentioned that she was feeling better (she had been ill this week), and that we should make time for sex later. She said “if I’m not up to it, I’ll help you out at least.” I said that her timing was great because seeing her in her swimsuit at the gym gave me a huge urge to go down on her, if she’s up for that. …she realized our teen daughter was standing behind me. She had heard it all - she was in the garage and we didn’t realize it.
I pretended (or hoped) she hadn’t heard anything, but my wife says she clearly did.
