I'm running FL Studio through Wine. So for some reason everything works, besides the visuals. Anytime I try to change a setting or something the whole thing freezes, but if I reload the graphical side by clicking into settings it works again. It's still possible to use, and the standalone version works fine, but I want to know if there's any fix.

2024.11.24 20:31 BBGonda New Trane AC installed this summer and wondering if this noise is normal AND if the air exiting the top is warm enough

We had a new Trane AC installed in August and I'm wondering if this level and kind of noise is normal. We have a 10+10 warranty for labor and parts. The noise is particularly noticeable when you listen from the side as I move the camera there. It almost sounds like a rattling noise.
Also, how hot should I expect the air exiting/being blown out the top of it to be? If it matters this is a Trane XR13. The air is lukewarm, whereas the very old AC that we had in its place from the 90s or early 2000s pumped out pretty damn hot air. When the tech installed it, he checked the air being pushed out the top with his hand and said it's good. He did some measurements too, and if I recall correctly he ended by saying it was charged enough. The air being blown into the house is good and it cools well, but I was surprised at this difference in temperatures between the very old unit and the new one. Perhaps it's just an improvement/change in tech over the last 25-30 years? Thank you in advance.

A lass I was friends with from 2002ish until about 2010. We both moved away our shared hometown but always met for food/drink whenever we were both back home.
I returned home in 2010, and went to find her on Facebook to see when she was back. She had disappeared, as I found out later she blocked me. I contacted a mutual friend (who I am no longer friends with) who informed me she got married, and was ok. I got the feeling that he blocking me was the work of her husband, but that’s not confirmed.
I can’t seem to find her on any social media. I don’t even know where she is living. Her husband is American, so she could be there. She has a degree in law, so could be working as a lawyer somewhere.
I’m not desperate to find her, I’d just like to know she’s ok.

2024.11.24 20:31 Throwaway-4161 How would you feel/react if a hookup contacted you 8 years later?
When I was 18, I hooked up with this guy who was 19. We were both in very temporary living situations; we only met 3 times (and fucked twice) before going our separate ways. He texted me to catch up about a year later, and we are FB friends, but haven’t interacted in over 7 years at this point. It’s quite possible he doesn’t even remember me.
But here’s the thing: I lost my virginity to this guy…and he was also my first kiss. I didn’t tell him that. In fact, he asked if I had experience and I lied, fearing he would call it off. I was a shy, awkward, sheltered nerd, and he was a confident hunky jock who took me to his dorm on the Air Force base to fool around. It was so hot. He was so nice to me, respectful, and it felt amazing to be wanted by that kind of guy (instead of bullied, lol). I got my cherry popped and, despite knowing that it shouldn’t be that big of a deal, spent the rest of that day floating on Cloud 9 with this giddy feeling I’ve never felt before or since. It was honestly one of the best days of my life, pathetic as that may be.
To be clear, it’s not that I think I’m in love with him. I’m not that much of a mess. In fact, I’m now in a very happy (and completely open) relationship. But I look back on this memory so fondly and obviously still have a crush on this guy who I met so briefly, nearly a decade ago. For what it’s worth, to this day I have slept with a grand total of 5 guys, and it took over 5 years for that number to rise from 1 to 2… so I think that probably contributes.
I’m 27 now, and I feel pretty ridiculous for this. Lately I have been toying with the idea of sending him a message and trying to reconnect. I just don’t know if it’s a good idea. I wouldn’t tell him all of this, but maybe I could just be like “hey, remember me?” and we could catch up. Maybe if we hit it off again, I could eventually admit that he was my first. And maybe there’s a chance that we could hook up again if we’re ever in the same town, lol.
Or maybe I just need to move on. I tend to dwell on the past too much. I really don’t want to weird him out. What do you guys think?

Does anyone know how to counteract this? For the record it doesn’t just happen when I play loud or try to play something forceful, I can play a simple quiet melody and my lips will still get insanely wet. It doesn’t help that my mouth fills up with a ton of saliva. I already drink about a gallon of water a day so idk what to do at this point.
