American English tends towards overstatement so “good” or even “great” might be more common. Both are equally valid because as far as and so far as have exactly the same meaning in this context. I know that the construction "It is not so much funny as interesting" is valid if I want to talk about something that is both funny and interesting, but with an element of comparison. To me, that sentence rather suggests that something isn't funny. not so much in British English informal used to refer back to something that has been mentioned, saying that it is less true for someone or something else: If you like it, fine, but for me, not so much. I have seen the following phrases "so as not to" and "so (adjective) as not to" in articles before, but I don't know how to use these two phrase correctly. Any advice or insight would be very helpful. I have provided two example below. Do they mean different things? (I know that "stiffly" is not an adjective here) I wish to emphasize these are tasks that aren't urgent enough to be called urgent or important enough to be called important; but they are not so little of either that I can just forget about them. I'm also looking at maintenance task, filler task, staff task, or housekeeping task. I am not an English major but these answers seem wrong to me. I came here to see if "so as not to" was considered appropriate in any case. The comma makes it sound like the writer is trying to say that the killer was not suicidal and wasn't carrying the knife to intentionally cut himself. This is not what the author means.

I visit my wife there every day. Today we were watching football when the fire alarm went off. It was silenced after about a minute, so I figured it was found quickly. Then I hear "Fire in laundry!!" Her room is on the same hall as laundry, so I went to see if I could help. The lady told me it was a drill. I talked to her for a minute before pointing out that no employees had showed up. They just silenced the alarm and went back to their phones.
She just returned there after a 3 week stay in ICU and hospital after getting pneumonia and an infection from non-functioning oxygen machines.

I've got a factorio server running on linux that I can connect to fine through LAN, but not through any WAN IP. I've made sure the ports are open just fine, I can connect to my terraria server through my WAN IP fine. But when I set the factorio server port to 7777 like terraria, I can't connect at all. The server is not publicly browsasble, and changing the LAN connection setting doesn't change anything. Any help is appreciated!

So I was wondering if any church in the area has a service Sunday night or anytime on Monday.
