I ran my first marathon (NYC) in 2023 and ran a consistent race but deff with the goal of finishing and not necessarily with a goal time but I’m running it again next year obviously hoping to do better and with a full year ahead of me I’d like to start making changes to my running routine now while I have the time. What are some tweaks you made with each new training cycle?
For reference, I didn’t really do any speed workouts for my first one (which feels like an obvious addition), and I peaked at 40-42 mile weeks with like, 4 days of running, 1-2 strength days per week and a cross training day.

2024.11.24 22:31 TimelessAron Xiaomi 1S sounds like an impact drill.
I have owned my Xiaomi 1S scooter for nearly 4 years now, and have already hit 21000km on it. Recently (about a month or 2 ago) the scooter had started making weird noises when it has to use more energy. I first noticed this when going up a hill near my home back in Septmeber. It is a steep hill, but it's something the scooter has gone up hundreds of times before. That time tho (in September) It suddenly lost all torque, started rapidly slowing down and whining really hard. I decided to stop, and when I did the front wheel locked up completely. I turned the scooter on and off, after which when I pressed the accelerator, the scooter started rumbling and vibrating like an impact drill, or more so like a jackhammer. It started moving, but was only going no more than 10kmh (in sport) with significant battery still left. When I got home the motor was as hot as a frying pan, quite literally evaporating water droplets. I let the scooter sit overnight, and next morning everything was fine. This happened a few more times during the last 2 months, but every time the scooter recovered, and I started taking a different route avoiding the hill. TODAY, we were hit with a significant snow storm, and the roads were covered in snow, but when I left work and started driving the same route as always, I got a weird feeling, since the scooter was not going any more than 20kmh and was accelerating very slowly, and suddenly the scooter locked up the front motor with no warning on a flat surface, and started rumbling severely. The motor was SO HOT, that it was melting the snow around the tire in -5°C. I hopped on a bus and went home by foot with the scooter in my arm, and every time I turned it on, it started rumbling again. I will see how it will behave tomorrow, but I have never had this happen like this. Does anyone know what the problem is? Do I need to replace the scooter? Please help.

Hey there, I've been researching about incorporating a rowing machine into my home gym setup. I'm specifically on the hunt for the best Rowing Machine 2025.
My main goal is to find a machine that provides a high-intensity, low-impact workout. I've heard that rowing machines are excellent for this, and I'm also looking to improve my cardiovascular health without putting too much strain on my joints. But with so many brands and models out there, I'm feeling confused.

Heyo! I had a quick question for FFTA.
So I'm raising a Morpher, and eventually I'll be training up Lvl.50 monsters and raising their stats once I can buy Curealls and such, but how does replacing a monster in the Monster Bank work?
Say I find a higher leveled Ice Flan than the one I have, and haven't started raising their stats and stuff yet. Can I Capture a new one and be given the option to replace the old one? Or do I have to actively go and release the old one FIRST, and THEN go and Capture the new one?
Wanted to figure this out, since it'll be a while before I can just buy tons of Curealls to start raising their stats, or getting them all to Lvl.50. Figure I might want to get some higher leveled ones in the meantime, but we'll see.

I play Ganon and the second fox, falco, sheik, and others get me airborne, It feels like I’m guaranteed at least 80% where I can’t do anything. No matter what direction I input or if I tech, it feels like I’m forever in stun lock. Is this normal? How do I get out of this?

Does anyone else get pain that spreads into the lower back up the abdomen and down the leg? I have right hip labrum tear and fai. Last night I ended up in the er because the pain was so bad and I started getting tingling in my groin. Is this normal? Er dr did an mri on my back and said it’s just my hip. Just seems like extensive spreading of pain.

Very recently (less than a month), videos I send from my Android device to others get broken when whatsapp compress them. They become green, full of compression artifacts. It shows like that for me and the person receiving the video. Other apps (including Facebook Messenger) work fine with the same video (before compression).
Anyone experiencing the same issue?
