having a lot of intrusive thoughts and stuff, i’ve been trying not to react to them but they feel so real and convincing that it’s hard not to. it’s attached to something i love and is trying to make me view it in a way that i’ll hate, but i’m trying not to listen. how does anyone resist that urge to do their compulsions? especially when your mind tells you that this time it’s different?
my compulsions are all mental and internet related ( checking posts, making posts, saving posts to review later, etc etc ). this isn’t for reassurance seeking, i genuinely want to recover and i wanna know how i can ignore this urge to ruminate/do my compulsions. my mind has been fighting back a lot lately because i haven’t been reacting much to them, which that must mean it’s working but wow it’s creating a lot of thoughts i really hate

My partner has this harasser at her work that tried climbing through her window at the drive thru at work, and she and her friend will throw donuts at his car. I asked her why she thought it was ok to do and she said they're just messing around. Apparently they just always mess around like that, but the guy that they are messing with was also caught breaking into peoples unlocked cars and messing around in them. Overall it doesn't seem like the right person to be messing around with. When I told her provoking someone like that could be dangerous she played it off as good fun. I don't really agree with this, I think it's pretty immature and I would never provoke someone who could be of potential threat to me. She did this with her friend and told me it's not the first time they've done it. It reminded me of one time where my dad picked up a neighbors dog's turd that they didn't pick up and dropped it off on the neighbors front porch, provoking the neighbors to be angry and yelling threats at my father. I am not assured she won't get herself into trouble on her own and it makes me feel uncertain of my attraction towards her. This is a new relationship too, only 2 months in. I also understand there is an age difference of 2 years, but when I was 18 I was just as afraid of provoking a potential threat into doing something worse, so I can't tell if I was more mature at my age, or justified for feeling the way I do about her maturity.

I hate myself how i am. I used to smoke weed and drop hallucinogenics occasionally. And i damn it i miss that version of me. I quit smoking and doing everything else after a car wreck that killed me (literally). Wasnt my fault but changed my whole world. Weed and anything else gives me panic attacks stemming from ptsd. Its been years and here i find myself at the bottom of a bottle again... i try to quit and i go some days before i fall back. I feel like i need this to push down all the hurt i feel. I miss myself so much Ill never be the same...i eant to quit dri king so bad but then i feel all i have is this void, where i used to be. I used to be fun and carefree. I used to be smart and silly. I used to be creative and pretty.
Now im boring. Now im sad. Now im stupid. Im fat. Im hateful. Im angry.
These feelings would exsist without booze but i know drinking makes it worse. I want to be done and find myself again. I just miss me... I feel like im greicing everyday someone i was. I can never get that person back and i feel stuck.
I really didnt want to drink today....

Bom dia! Ya fueron muchos posts sobre sexo, tengo una duda sobre algo distinto a lo que han puesto últimamente.
Unos de mis hobbys es aprender idiomas y, en mi caso, cuando estudias uno llegas a un punto en el que la única forma de seguir mejorando es hablando con otras personas (nativas de éste o no), pero la gente en internet es… rara en el mejor de los casos. ¿Alguno de ustedes conoce alguna página web o una aplicación para conversar con gente que hable otros idomas? He probado algunas y parecen más una red social genérica más en la que nadie habla con nadie que un lugar para aprender, ahí nomás me dejan en visto y en el extinto Omegle (sí, lo sé, gran error) solo preguntaban: "M o F?" y se desconectaban poco después.
No sé si alguien aquí pueda ayudarme, por favor.
