What are the best brands that stay put and do not rub off on your teeth? And that do not dry your lips out or feel super dry? and do I need like a lip primer before I put the lipstick on? What are the best brands for that? I would love to wear lipstick, but just don’t want to chance it getting on my teeth the first wear. Also, if you have any advice on lip liners or any other lipstick tips, thanks!

I hope I’m in the right subreddit. I’m a student in the Master of Teaching program at the University of Toronto, but I’m heavily reconsidering if teaching is for me and was actually thinking of withdrawing, but the thought of having no alternative plan is making me a little lost and hesitant. My practicum was truly enough to make me see I cannot see myself doing this every single day. I’m starting to look into other careers where I still work with children, preferably in an educational setting, and one happens to be OT but I don’t know much about it. For those who are OTs for the school board, or even those that work with kids, what is your role? I really appreciate the insight!

I will say the highlight of my 2024 was going to see Creed and 3 Doors Down. Me and my best friend of 28 years both got into rock at about the same time. Creed and 3DD was our gateway bands. Getting to see them live (I've seen 3DD about 8 times now) was such a surreal experience. We did the meet and greet and sound check party ad well which was absolutely cool. Cannot wait to see them again in the future!

 | I don’t know what happened, but all of sudden my reliable golden pothos has been yellowing. It’s very long (longest shoot is probably around 10 feet). The ends are doing great. I’ve repotted and pruned it. I checked the roots, they look great. It’s still yellowing and sad on both the original plant and propagated leaves. Any advice?? Last pic is a few days after checking on the roots, pruning, and fertilizing - still sad :( (water it about once a week/as needed, draining pot ofc. As a drummer who wants to expand their vocabulary on the kit, I’m curious what are some common things to find in each genre?
For example: Gospel is often very chop heavy, they love full band shots
CCM is all Tom grooves, low tuned snares
Metal you find double kick patterns, high usage of the bell, high tuned snares
Disco is often offbeat grooves. Lots of hihat work.
I just want to understand basic expectations from a drummer in common genres.
