Ok, so lately I offered to temporarily reduce my hours for the good of the company, as it was haemorrhaging money and not in a good position. I acted in good faith for the benefit of everyone keeping their jobs during tough times.
However, I wasn’t given a new contract or a variation of my employment agreement and the relationship has changed with my employer for various reasons.
My original employment agreement was salaried at 40 hours. I’m currently getting 30 hours.
Am I entitled to request my 40 hours being reinstated, since nothing was signed prior to my offer? They will have on email record of myself offering a drop of hours for the time being.

Whenever I sit and ponder of all the things going on in the world, while I am stuck in my bedroom listening to the same songs over and over again (for the last 10 years), I can't help but think I neglect any chance of life I can make of my own.
If I have an interesting story to tell, it's usually something I saw, not something I did. I want a fruitful life where I try new things and have my own stories to tell. All the stories I create in my head are based on movies and other peoples' experiences, none of my own.
Sitting on the sidelines of my own life, for so long, is catching up to me. But how does this just end, abruptly? How can I get up from my room, take the plunge, and just do things? Why does everything have to be so nerve wrecking to me? How can I stop being so comfortable living like this?

 | I would like to convert this old lamp shade into a planter for my girlfriend, plan is to attach to a nice piece of stained wood that can mount to the wall. What I'm thinking, because I would like the stained glass to "pop" out a bit more is to run some LED strips around the inside and be able to plug it in. This would mean having the lights covered with dirt and occasional water from the inside. Is this doable without creating a fire or electrical hazard? And does anyone have any suggestions?
