So I asked my friend to do me a favor and buy some weed from a store that's much cheaper and that he's never been to. He said he got 1.5grams for the price of 1. Immediately, I thought there was something weird about it, it came preground which it never does here, it's still good stuff for 7 euros.
I smoked most of it and it's a solid 7/10 but it's clearly tainted with charcoal at least... how safe is that? 🥺

I'm looking for suggestions for floorstanding speakers for ideally <$3500/pair, though I'm willing to go up to ~$6000/pair if appropriate. In NYC if relevant. Also considering options closer to $1500/pair that I would upgrade at some point in the future.
These will be used for both home theater and streaming music (spotify and airplay) in a 24'x18' room (though facing the width at one end rather than the length) via a Yamaha RX-A4A.
I've had a pair of Definitive Tech BP7006 towers for the past decade and one of the built-in sub amps has recently bitten the dust, which is driving the upgrade. The BP7006s aren't bad for the price but are lacking in clarity, which can make understanding speech through them somewhat difficult. I'd like to resolve that issue with the replacement while also generally improving the audio quality otherwise.
Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance!

I’m looking for a teething toy, here’s what I remember- - bought it in 98 or 99 - most likely Toy’s R us bought math not -completely solid (not gel or water filling) -silicone (probably) -One CLEAR Color- ours was red but think there blue and/or green - it was a bear (might have been others but🤷🏻♂️) - ELONGATED! This seems the hardest part to describe and search for —— there are some ROUND ones that look similar but the one I’m looking for was skinnier and taller and had it’s other distinctive feature- ——-it had a piece of material that connected the sides across the middle that ‘bowed’ outwards and give the impression of a ‘belly’
might have Playtex(this rang a slight bell with me but again 🤷🏻♂️) or “The First Years”(the name my wife mentioned but isn’t even remotely sure….)

Hi all, I'm stealth and the librarian in an elementary school so I interact with all 500+ people in my building within a two week span. I guess my question is that although you can leave medical things vague and it's not anyone's business I still kind of need go to things to say when telling the students/teachers I'm going to be absent for an extended period of time. I don't want it to sound scary or like I'm sick but obviously it's still a really big surgery with a tough recovery.
Anyone have tips of maybe what they told their own young kids or if you also work in a setting with kids?
Not to mention my colleague friends will want more into than the vague remarks I could give to most other adults. I was thinking telling them it was a bladder cyst/malformation or something. I've seen other people have similar ideas on here.

Hello Cocos.I finished my +2 2 years ago. But when I was still in 10 th standard, other teachers(mainly maths teacher) taking the only PT period was a common occurence especially before mid terms, annual exams. Me and my friends were really furious about this and one of my friend stood up and argued with our maths teacher. I mean what is the point of having a PT period once a week and that period is used for other teachers. Is this still a thing here? Did you guys had the same experience?

As title says, I'm trying to gather whether I'm missing a trick or if Searchanise is just bad?
Around a year ago we had to switch from Klevu to Searchanise because of external changes. I made the change, but wasn't happy with it. We were grandfathered on a Klevu plan that was costing £200 odd a month. Searchanise is a lot cheaper than even that.
We are in the hair colour industry, most customers buy mainly colour, then add hair care and electricals if they need. Currently, Searchanise rarely shows the most popular product if the customer searches their brand. Often it's down on the 2nd row. Their way of merchandising is a clunky menu with 5 confusing promotional types and the ability to add keywords, but if I add the keyword of 'example', it doesn't seem to have an impact until the full word is typed in which not many people does. It should be recognising 'examp' is likely to be 'example' and be showing the customer whatever I've set 'example' to show but this is just not functionality that seems available to me.
I've tried hopping on a call with Searchanise similar to how I did with Klevu back in the day to help me merchandise and optimise but all I got was a really confused developer who seemed really confused that I wasn't asking for base level functionality support.
Had a call with Klevu and seems they have only improved in the year we went without them. It's gonna cost a pretty penny to go back to though, around £1k a month which I think I can justify. The guy chuckled a bit when mentioning our ridiculously cheap price we had before.
It is really confusing to me, we aren't even on that high plan so there's clearly bigger businesses having luck with Searchanise but I just can't get it to work. Any input is appreciated, TIA
