I was honest with you. Told you what I felt and said I had to distance myself from you.
Reason being, I know I don’t belong in your world and I would never want to do anything to break up or cause trouble in your family.
The problem is mine and not something you need to be responsible for in any way.
Your response wasn’t exactly what I expected. I expected you to say you had no romantic interest in me, and you lived up to that expectation. But you left it there.
I expected you to say that you have a loving husband/family and had no interest in breaking that up.
But you didn’t.
You did not close that door to being interested in someone else.
But I see the way you are with New Guy. I think you have been getting closer to him. It seems you have been communicating outside of the workplace. It’s the only way he knows what he knows.
I hate to think that you are that kind of person. You have a husband and young children, he has a wife, small child and one in the way.
For all that I thought you embodied, all that I thought you were, it was, seemingly, all a dream.
All a dream.
I think you knew how I felt about you and, at a time where you were having trouble with a milestone birthday, it made you feel good that someone had an interest in you.
I think you used it and, quietly, encouraged it.
Then, New Guy came along and you no longer needed me.
So I was cast aside.
You found someone new, younger, smarter, cuter. Whatever you thought of me professionally, has now been replaced.
My feelings were genuine and honest. But I knew my place. A lonely struggle within myself to try and get past these feelings, knowing they were wrong.
What you embodied for me, doesn’t really exist, I’m beginning to believe.
I wasted so much time and energy. But that’s on me. I knew better, but was a loss as to what to do.
Now I need to try and pick up the pieces and move on. Forget about you.

My mother is 85. She has deficits in memory and cognitive function. Today I told her I would call about Thursday plans, and she replied: ‘what’s Thursday?’ I have spoken to her and my siblings. I have talked to her doctor and her friends. Everyone sees the same behavior I do; but I am the only one to confront her. All she ever says is ‘I’m fine,’ So, my question is this: do i continue to point out her errors and mistakes in hopes that she’ll see reason? Or do I adopt the ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ attitude of my family? I’m the only one who is near her, completely alone in this while I take care 24/7 of my special needs son. I’m exhausted and angry and sad and I don’t know what to do. Thanks for listening.

I’m looking to book a multigenerational family trip in early April. We’ve been to Excellence resorts in that past and that’s the type of resort we would be looking for. However, our youngest person is not quite 18. She is very mature and doesn’t need teen activities. We very much want to avoid noisy children for this trip as we are prioritizing rest and relaxation.
Looking to budget about $700 per room per night, but could be flexible.
We like beautiful beaches, preferably with shaded seating. Good food is always a plus.
Evening entertainment isn’t a priority.
Ideally we’d love someplace easy to get to (nonstop flight from a Delta hub, resort not too far from the airport).
Any ideas? Right now Atelier is one possibility I’ve found.

2024.11.25 17:40 paulfalcone95 Driver and passenger doors won’t lock or unlock with remote.
2017 forester. My driver and passenger door won’t lock or unlock with the remote, but the two rear doors are operating just fine. I can arm the alarm when outside the vehicle but both the driver and passenger remain unlocked and when I open them, the alarm goes off because they were never remotely locked. I can also no longer lock the driver or passenger door from inside the vehicle using either door panel lock/unlock buttons. I don’t believe it’s the actuators on both doors as they both are inoperable. I also don’t believe it’s a key battery issue as that has been replaced recently and is operating both rear doors just fine. I’m assuming it’s a wiring issue or a fuse issue, I’m just not sure if the two front doors would be on a different fuse as the rear doors, as those are both operating correctly. Any input or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
