Hi everybody I bought a pair of Levis Japanese Fabric 505s in Japan and was wondering if they would shrink when washing (waist/ length).
I am typically a 33 and bought these as 34s. They are a little loose but fit fine with a belt.
Also I am considering on buying some LVC 1955 501 from this website.

I'm a nurse that recently accepted a new job at a different hospital. My start date is supposed to be 1/7/25. My father, whom I was very close to and took care of pasted away this year on 1/16/24. I thought I'd done a good job grieving this loss appropriately until last night. I was working the night shift and had just turned 28 when a patient passed on the unit I'm currently working at. I was not this person's nurse nor had I ever even seen this person before their passing. But seeing a deceased person for the first time since my dad caused something to snap in me. I tried to focus on doing the job and until I shut down from overwhelming emotions. My coworkers noticed and called spiritual serves to speak with me, but any attempt I made to about it with them just lead me feeling evening more out of control and trying to shave my emotions down. With spiritual service's recommendation, it was decided it would be best if I went home for the night and another nurse would be called into replace me. After sleeping I feel in control of my emotions but my grief is still palpable. Now I'm worried about potentially having another break down one the first anniversary of his death, which is about a week after my start date. Would it be a bad idea for me to tell my future employer what happened and inquire if it's possible to change start date after the anniversary of his passing? Or would it be better to suck it up and try to work through it?

Clan War started last night for my clan and every single member (including me and my multiple accounts) have been disconnected from the game during our war attacks. This has led to us losing multiple stars. Why?

Question about the MacBook Air
So I have the MacBook Air, this morning I had a lot of important tabs on Safari. The Internet was acting strange so I had to shut off the laptop. Then when it turned back on again, the Safari didn’t have any tabs open, so I tried going into the history and the part where it says reopen all windows from last session is grayed out. How do I reopen the windows that I had before I shut off the laptop? I’m worried because they were all really important Tabs. And while I was trying to figure it out, I did open other new tabs so when when it did give me the option to reopen all windows from last session, it went to the recent new tabs that I opened. And the recent tabs were mostly just google.com. I’m trying to go to the ones that I had this morning before the problem happened.

A parent on a youth team I coach reached out asking for defense stick recommendations. Their son was one of our best defenders last year using a 10u length stick and they’re looking to get a full size one this year for 12u. I’m trying to balance budget and quality in my suggestions. They asked specifically about the Stringking complete defense sticks intermediate ($160) and senior ($200) so I can assume their budget is around $200.

The SK senior seems like decent stick from what I’ve been able to see of reviews online and stringking products in general are solid so I don’t feel like that’d be a bad choice.
However, I was looking around and see the Under Armour Grip 3 (sci-ti) on Sportstop for $70 which seems like a great value for sci-ti and then he could get a bit nicer head. They have the hammer 900 for $50, tank 2 for $100. I can string, so an unstrung head + kit would be fine.
This will only be his second year playing so he doesn’t have any strong preferences around head shape that would direct a decision.
I’m wondering if for $200 the Stringking senior is going to be the best bet or if it’d be better to build from components at this price point.

Whenever I sit back and compare El Paso to other regions in Texas, I can’t help to feel like we are really lagging behind. Our population has stagnated and our city leaders show no signs of trying to promote our city or make it an attractive place to move to. I understand that we’ll most likely never receive the growth that the cities in the Texas triangle have (DFW, SA, Austin, Houston) but even the RGV is growing faster than us. Hidalgo county alone has more people in it than El Paso county. I know that when you combine the entire Paso del Norte region we have a little over 3 million people but most companies and businesses don’t consider Mexico and New Mexico when contemplating a move to El Paso. As a native El Pasoan, my frustration comes from the potential I feel we have as a mid major city comparable to that of St. Louis or Nashville or even New Orleans (cities with similar populations). I feel like we hold ourselves back from growth and opportunity but what do ya’ll feel is the biggest reason for our shortcomings?

Hiya, I'm looking for some advice on my hoggie. She's 9 months old, weighs 40 grams as of her last weigh in on the 19th. She has a bit of scale spread in and around her spots and so I was wondering what the best course of action is to help her lose a bit of weight. At the moment, she's being treated for a suspected RI (caught very early thankfully) so I'm going to leave this until after her treatment is completed so I don't stress her system too much.
I've been feeding her a small fuzzie once per week. I handle her regularly for 30 minutes at a time. She's active and always exploring so I've been using that as an opportunity for enrichment and exercise. My question is, should I reduce her food size or increase the time between feeds? If I reduce her food size, how long between feeds should I go? If I increase the time between feeds and keep her size of meal the same, how many days in-between would you suggest? Is there anything else I can do?
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you. :)
