Hi- I have suspected SIBO and diagnosed c. Diff, IBS, PCOS with IR, neuropathy, and an autoimmune disease. I am pending a SIBO test with a specialist in February.
My gut metabolism issues are very much interfering with my ability to take any oral autoimmune mediating medication, even at low doses. Which leaves my autoimmune disease untreated and progressing.
I am on metformin XR 2000 mg for PCOS. I do not have diabetes but insulin resistance. Not looking to come off metformin.
Anyone have experience with taking both metformin and (low dose) berberine?

Before anything else, I am so sorry for posting a picture of my butthole, but I think that is the unfortunate byproduct of this subreddit so I'm sure you all knew what you were in for.
I (27M) never had hemorrhoids before and this one showed up a little over a day ago. I googled my symptoms (i.e. mild discomfort/pain, swelling) and it said hemorrhoid, so I was curious what to do about it which led me to this sub, which in turn got me curious enough to take a picture of it. Needless to say there are 2 small black spots and larger swelling than I thought. I am both incredibly embarrassed but also worried.
I know it's not really a related issue, but my brother has had ulcerative colitus and other similar issues which has led to lifelong issues and my father had colon cancer and what began as discomfort and curiosity has now led to full paranoia. If anyone can help with advice or something please do!

So, this is a new one for me. I'm 25 and have a co-worker in her 50's. I'm not usually someone who says hello to people first. This often come off as bitchy to most people. I'm a shy and awkward person who's probably autistic to some extent. I guess on Saturday I walked pass my co-worker and didn't say good morning to her... I don't even remember walking pass her. I did notice she looked mad at me Saturday and was giving me an attitude when I asked her about something. I don't take things too personally, so I just let it roll off me.
Today she tells me I made her cry on Saturday because I walked past her without saying anything. She was hugging me and crying and saying, "I know I'm damaged. This is just how I am". I told her It was okay. Later on that day, I was talking to my co-worker about it. I think the older lady heard because I didn't realize she was next to us... So then, she sees me on the aisle and sticks her tongue out at me as a "joke".
I also remember that on Saturday, I swear I left some important papers on my desk that just vanished. I'm starting to think she may have taken them? But my memory isn't the best and it's possible I didn't actually take the papers I needed. I was missing like 3 papers... What do I do?

I can ask a dream character to read my mind and tell me what number or word I'm thinking of, and they can do it every time. It's as if they have access to my private thoughts. I can think of the number 32, ask what number I am thinking of, and they'll say 32. Not entirely unexpected - they are part of my own mind, after all.
But it doesn't work the other way around. I can't always access or control the motives or actions of the characters. In fact, most of the time I cannot. They often seem to work against me.
So maybe it's not that "they" have access to your private thoughts, but really they represent the source of them. Whatever region of the mind is creating these characters may be the same region of mind that made me think of the number 32!
It may be that your dream characters are really the "deeper you", and that really they are the ones controlling you!

Why we should be able to block people to not play against them So let me set something straight right off the jump, losing as a survivor can be fun so long as you actually get to play the game. I've left games feeling happy to have played it despite the killer getting a 4k. But when people play like this, it just makes them feel entitled like they can't be stopped and that's why if you block a persone you shouldn't be able to be paired up with them again.

No gens done, none of us Tbagged or BM'd and he left me slugged while he chased the last survivor down just so he could mori me. If you couldn't tell this was a Doctor running impossible skill checks, and I was forced to lay there listening to that ear piercing annoying sound the whole time. Then when he caught the other guy and was coming back to get me the other guy kobied and tried to hide but he dropped me and because he's a doctor obviously you can't hide from him, even if he got into a locker he was hurt. After catching the guy again and hooking him, he then hit him on hook till he died just to then come back and mori me.
