So I recently bought an open-box Logitech G Pro wheel with the G Pro pedals (was going to get a Moza but this deal worked out better). I now need a portable cockpit that I can carry and store in the 1.5m x 1.5m pantry/storage on the other side of the house (there are small shelves in here) so something like a playseat trophy (which I’ve found online for £230/$290) would probably not work in this situation. So after doing more research, I came across this review by Karl Gosling on YT of the new GT Omega Sprint cockpit. He mentions its noticeably more sturdy than the Playseat Challenge (even with mods) and NLR GT Lite, but also supposedly more than the NLR GT Lite Pro which most reviewers claim to be the ‘most sturdy’ foldable cockpit. So my question is, should I go ahead and buy this new GT Omega sprint (£180 with postage+ discounts), or is there a better option that suits my criteria? Also, please don’t tell me about how I should go for a fixed aluminium profile rig, it won’t work for my situation. This may sound silly but I am money obsessed. I’m counting every dollar I finally reached $7,000 in savings this was my short term goal and It’s just not enough for me it’s like I’m constantly pushing myself which is good in some ways but mannnn I hate spending it like hate spending and it stresses me out it’s all I think about I literally had a dream last night that all my money was gone. Idk what’s wrong with me it is effecting me mentally because anytime I go out somewhere I calculate how much I’m spending vs how many hours I can make it back and how much it will set me back to reach my next short term goal. I want to reach $10k and then I keep telling myself I’ll chill about it but I know I won’t because I said that about the $7k goal

I get EF is now produced by [REDACTED], but another 10%+ price increase on top of last year's AND last year they cancelled a full days worth of the fest with no refund. maybe it's just me, but this is not at all the EF that I remember anymore :( two years ago it was about $500 after fees and now it's up $100 with no noticeable improvements. how are yall feeling about this?
*note: removed name of owner because a mod apparently doesn’t like it and says it’s wrong despite every other source on google saying otherwise (which if I could instead be directed towards a source that says otherwise instead of just being told “wrong” with no explanation and my post removed, i’d actually appreciate it)

The fire alarm went off in my building before I had to leave for work forcing me to walk down the stairs.
Took about 5 minutes to go down over 500 steps (17 stairs/ flight) with only a slightly elevated HR. All I was thinking while going down was "really, Nesta?"
I'm not hyper critical of sjms work at all but Nesta not being able to go down over 100 steps was the most unrealistic aspect for me. 😂 Going back up is one thing but did sjm try walking down stairs while writing? Jelly legs would not be happening. Nesta not being able to go past 1000-2000 steps would have been a more appropriate choice Imo
Maybe I'll be sore tomorrow, tbd

2024.11.25 19:24 SmallBreadHailBattle Legit emails being junked is driving me insane

Since a couple months now legit emails get junked ALL THE DAMN TIME. In the 10 years I had this email I barely had to update the safe senders list. But now.. I had to update it for every single legit email I got, even if they mailed me before. Meanwhile, spam does get into my inbox.
My junk filter is set to standard so that's not the issue. Anyone else experiencing a sudden in crease in falsely junked emails? Im really at the verge of just buying my own domain and host my email somewhere that isn't microsoft google or apple.

my ex rejected all plea deals. the state is going full throttle forward. have now dug up two other DV cases he's been charged with in Florida (ten years ago) and plan to present evidence on that including on the assault case against me from last year..
I have been subpoenaed as a witness and do intend to show up as i'm sick of being scared of this guy. has anybody gone through this and have any advice? I'm intimidated and terrified that the no contact order is about to expire.
his public defender has filed motions to suppress ALL evidence (referencing the 4th and 6th amendment), idk if thats normal or not.
I have sole legal custody but joint physical.

I've got a dashboard with 5 tables that are filtered based on the top 5 topics currently this is a manual process of finding out the top 5 and then adjusting the filters on each table to the top 5. Is there a dynamic method for this? I was thinking of creating a topics table with a count measure and a sort column then use the topics table to filter by.
