SPOILERS:
Now that we know that Tabitha and Jade are reincarnations of people who tried to save the children, the possibility that Boyd being a reincarnation of Martin actually holds water.
Boyd has been shown to want to get everyone home, I’m thinking the first “Boyd” was able to discover that the children were the key. This would give the children a reason to continually reincarnate him.
The only reason Martin was alive was because of those worms, so it could make sense that Boyd was born shortly after Martin’s natural life ended(after he got infected with the worms).
Tabitha, Jade, and Boyd each have something unique to their reincarnations. Tabitha and her bracelet, Jade and the symbol , and Boyd and his time in the Marines.

2024.11.25 20:41 Training_Tomatillo96 [s2 spoilers] Beauty of Jayce & Viktor relationship and my personal take at it
I know this is a hot topic and almost everyone at this point talked about theirs opinion in this matter but I have no one to talk about Arcane and after its finale there is a kind of a void inside me that needs to be filled up.
Jayce's and Viktor's relationship is one of a kind. They have really strong bond and can be seen as either platonic soulmates/found brothers or doomed lovers. I use this words specifically duo to the fact, that they are destined to be together. On the one hand they were never a "couple" by a modern society terms and thou they love each other they never said it directly. Their bond is special and we can see that everything in the world of Arcane resolves around them. They are also a very needed representation of platonic friendship between two male characters because our society have a very big problem with fragile masculinity and acceptance within cis hetero men community. And I think that this show really made something significant about it. The fact, that in every universe they are together, one way or another is so beautiful to me and I simply can't fell anything other that admiration to the way they way portrayed. Every stare, every word between them is perfect and I'm really happy with the ending of their story. Every action have consequences and we could argue that they didn't have a happy ending but in fact, their love overcome everything on their way, and they are finally partners forever
Now this is moment for my personal take about them that I got as a viewer of this show. I know that they are meant to be platonic soulmates and I see it and I'm fine with that. But there is something in them that makes me see them as a doomed lovers. Maybe its because of my culture or sexuality but it doesn't matter. The way Viktor looks at Jayce trough the whole show and iconic "affection line" makes me interpret Jayce's confession in the finale as a declaration of love. Viktor always looked up to Jayce and loved him but Jayce truly showed that back when he still believed that, even after what he saw in other dimension, real Viktor, the one that he loves and the one who gave him the stone is still there.
To sum it up, I'm very grateful what writers did with their relationship and I'm living for it but as an individual I still see them as something more.
P.S. I craving for their kiss, I want it so bad

Does anyone else experience issues with the < group > app? I'm constantly putting lights into a group which will work fine for a day or 2, but then suddenly all lights in the group will work except for just 1. For example, I have a chandelier with 8 Hue bulbs in it. I've added them all into 1 group and when turning that group on/off they all work just fine. Later however, only 7 of 8 bulbs will work when the group is activated. When trying to repair, the group in question will say there are 8 bulbs selected, yet the one that is not working is not selected and when I do end up selecting it, now my group is showing as 9 bulbs when in fact there are only 8.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues or have any recommendations?

Hello! I'm raven, 22f, looking for a modern fantasy style rp! I write 3rd person only. Little about my writing style and what I'm looking for, I love lots of detail and world building. Writing around 600-2k words per response (the upper end mostly for when playing multiple characters in a single scene). I love to share and develop most side characters, changing the world around our mains. Looking for someone who can match my style and enjoys it as well :) Ideally, someone who would enjoy talking about story beats and planning things out too! No smut/ scenes fade to black/small overview at most.
Now let's get into the story I have in mind: A modern esque world, where fantasy is reality. Humans, demons, fairies, and all other types of creatures roam all together. It is how it always had been. Except for a change, happening a century or two before. It was found out that fairy blood posses their magical essence. Of course, you can only imagine the chaos this became. Fairies were kidnapped and enslaved, the lucky ones being more akin to house servants, used for their blood regularly to sell. This blood could be used for amazing things, from healing the sick to crafting magic devices that revolutionised the world. It was the perfect system.
Many remained locked away in facilities, barely conscious or completely comatose in beds, simply used for what they could provide. The few left in the wild hid for their lives.. that was only rumoured, of course. None had been spotted in the better half of a hundred years.
That's where our story begins, a young fairy only known as Mercy. Working her life away at the hands of her owner, Master Calum Archer. A businessman owning more than one of his own blood farms, he decided to keep Mercy around for himself. The girls rapid healing ability making her the perfect toy to beat whenever the mood hit. Tonight, was the night of a great party! With music blaring and many guests, Mercy gets a look into her future when she meets a mysterious man. All so different from the rest.

 | It has been a long day, so there is a brief recipe. From Philippine Welser’s collection: A sweet fish tart https://preview.redd.it/7nkkjoy3043e1.jpg?width=378&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55c320e02d8a32327f041cb3d078bedcae99a955 244 To make a fish tart In the beginning, you must take a piece of fish, be it trout, pike, or another kind, as you can get them, that was boiled hot. Take out the bones everywhere and cut this hot-boiled piece of fish into small pieces and diligently pound it in a mortar as finely as possible. Then take half a pound of good almonds that were also diligently pounded separately and pass the fish and almonds through a sieve with one or two eggs, but no more, and as they are (with whites and yolk). Then take a Seutel full of sugar, add a little rosewater, set it over the coals and let it melt (until it becomes) like water. Take whatever parts of the fish and almonds could not pass through the sieve the first time and pass it through again with this melted sugar. Stir it all together with all diligence and add cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and pepper. There must be more of cinnamon (than of the other spices), and it is most necessary. You may use a little of the other spices according to the occasion and the size of the tart. Make it with its dough and cover of sugar, egg whites, and rosewater as is described for the first tart. This will become a good tart. This is the next recipe in the sequence of tarts at the end of the manuscript, and certainly a strange idea to modern sensibilities. Sweet fish dishes are not unknown in the medieval tradition, but this one takes it farther than most: White fish and almonds ground with eggs and sugar syrup, then heavily spiced and baked under what is probably a kind of meringue topping. It is likely to come out tasting like spicy marzipan. I do not think the fish is going to be very noticeable, though of course that will depend on the proportions which we do not learn. I am not sure it is worth the trying, but if I ever have a piece of cooked trout left over, I may give it a go. Philippine Welser (1527-1580), a member of the prominent and extremely wealthy Welser banking family of Augsburg, was a famous beauty of her day. Scandalously, she secretly married Archduke Ferdinand II of Habsburg in 1557 and followed him first to Bohemia, then to Tyrol. A number of manuscripts are associated with her, most famously a collection of medicinal recipes and one of mainly culinary ones. The recipe collection, addressed as her Kochbuch in German, was most likely produced around 1550 when she was a young woman in Augsburg. It may have been made at the request of her mother and was written by an experienced scribe. Some later additions, though, are in Philippine Welser’s own hand, suggesting she used it. I've had Samsung phones for years at least the past 3 phones and I don't tend to change unless a new one comes out that I am excited by or I finish my contract with my provider. I have been reluctant to upgrade to a new Samsung for many reasons, but the main one is the fake bokeh in photos. I HATE it with a firey passion. If it was a filter I could apply, that would be different but on S20 you cannot get rid of this. I have looked at moving to Google Pixel, for this and many other reasons, but the lower screen resolution turned me off. I have tried moving to Apple and I just dislike their devices. I've included 2 images of the bokeh around the edges so people know what I mean. Also, I hate having floating garbage menu on my screen so I can have tap to talk instead of slide. Can someone tell me honestly if these issues are still a thing?
