2024.11.26 14:50 Erazous S24U battery is awful when it is on data mode

The difference between Wifi & data on the life of battery is insane. Full battery will give me 6-7 hours SOT on on optimized setting and no heavy processing usage ( mainly social media and youtube) and im only using 4G while on wifi its easily goes up to 10+ hours SOT. am i the only one having this issue?

2024.11.26 14:50 OrcaFins Issues with Some Authors' Notes

A bit of a dilemma, or not. In the past two days, I’ve come across two separate fics, by two different authors, that I enjoyed very much but the author’s notes really turned me off. Both are multi-chapter fics and the A/N’s in question didn’t happen until a couple of chapters in.
The first one, the author threatened to kill off the main characters in the next chapter if they didn’t get more comments. They claim they were joking, but it was an entire paragraph long. I was actually going to comment too, but the A/N just turned me off so bad.
In the second one, the author made comments about a rather heated real-life issue doesn’t exist in cannon. It was irrelevant to the story, and disappointing to see.
I never thought an author’s comments would bother me, but it’s happened. I feel weird even asking about this. Those you that found yourselves in this situation, did you continue reading? Do I just ignore it? I don’t think I can bring myself to comment on the first one.
I like the stories, but I kinda feel deflated. Like the fics are tainted now and I don’t know if that feeling will go away. Am I just making too much of this?

I have about 2YOE as a credit analyst at a bank doing CNI deals but my bank doesn’t touch CRE deals at all. I’ve been trying to switch over to CRE for 6 months now but have only landed one interview after maybe 50 applications. There are barely any job openings either.
I am trying to think what else I can do to make myself known or something. I’m thinking maybe cold emailing property management companies and asking if there are roles available? Would that be bad?
I just want to be a credit analyst, but doing CRE only.

First of all, I must make a warning, I have very few memories of the series I am looking for, I am not even sure that it is an anime itself, and many of the things I will say may be modified memories because I saw it on children's networks when I was child.
I've been desperately searching for years for a series I watched as a child (I think it was around 2010). The series was about a group of 3 children who had a book that had holes on the cover for some "gems". They faced the "bad guys" who I seem to remember were characterized by purple colors and came from another dimension. I think there were skeletons (I'm not sure about this) and they fought with some creatures that they took out or made bigger with some kind of pokeball-style stones. . I think one of the creatures was green and another like a blue bull, I'm not sure. The protagonists were 2 boys and a girl. I know I am giving very diffuse information, but if anyone has any suggestions I would be tremendously grateful.

So I honestly don’t care who ends up with who,I respect all ships personally.
But I believe that Mike and El aren’t good for each other,not in the way that they’re bad people,but because they need something from a partner that they don’t currently have.
Eleven grew up tortured and abused,only to escape and get found by Mike. She took comfort in him,she spent days with him.
Mike had just lost his best friend,and he needed someone who he could care about,because he felt guilty. The both of them met and bonded under traumatic circumstances,and that mostly doesn’t lead to a good relationship (romantically).
Eleven leaned on Mike for comfort,comfort and stability that he cannot bring because he isn’t stable enough to give it to others. Mike wants to care for El,but he can’t. He needs patience and understanding,El needs someone stable and someone to lean on.
She’s always been the one to be the hero,she needs someone who can be the hero to her.
Mike has always been insecure,and he’s grown up without a very engaged father. He needs someone who’s patient and supportive,someone who won’t abandon him simply because he cannot utter out his feelings loud or because he doesn’t understand what he wants himself.
I’m not a Mileven-anti,all I want in the end is for the children to be happy. If Mike and Eleven end up happy,then good! I want them to be happy. If Will and Mike end up happy,then good! I can go on like that about every ship but that isn’t necessary. I just want them all to be happy.

Is anyone else in the psychiatric technician program? I’m taking mental 40 right now which is the first class and I have a B but I’m not able to even register for the next set of classes. They all say restricted except for one that has a prerequisite of one of the restricted classes. I registered for psych 1A because it’s also a requirement but I did already take it at chaffey in 2015. It was so long ago that a guess a refresher would be good but at the same time it seems like a waste of time.

About 3 weeks ago I started a gaming channel with the expectation to learn how to use capcut and get an idea of the youtube process.
I have a background in sales and marketing so I wanted to start a channel on that but, in that space they tend to look like they already know what they're doing.
I have realized that titles and thumbnails are literally the same a facebook ad (for anyone coming from the paid ads industry) and the content matter far more than the quality.
I started making Albion online videos I'm up to almost 5k views, 312 watch hours, and 35 subscribers. I'm not sure if that's good but it feels like it.
I make content in a relatively unsaturated niche as far as games go so... I think that's my main key for success.
Now I'm trying to figure out a few things like how to record and put in voice-overs and what to put in my descriptions. I should also start trying to figure out what I'm going to do with this channel when I'm wanting to focus on the self-help and business channel.
Take everything I've said with a mountain of salt. Idk what I'm doing on YouTube I'm on my 3rd video I could totally be just getting lucky!
