About 3 weeks ago I started a gaming channel with the expectation to learn how to use capcut and get an idea of the youtube process.
I have a background in sales and marketing so I wanted to start a channel on that but, in that space they tend to look like they already know what they're doing.
I have realized that titles and thumbnails are literally the same a facebook ad (for anyone coming from the paid ads industry) and the content matter far more than the quality.
I started making Albion online videos I'm up to almost 5k views, 312 watch hours, and 35 subscribers. I'm not sure if that's good but it feels like it.
I make content in a relatively unsaturated niche as far as games go so... I think that's my main key for success.
Now I'm trying to figure out a few things like how to record and put in voice-overs and what to put in my descriptions. I should also start trying to figure out what I'm going to do with this channel when I'm wanting to focus on the self-help and business channel.
Take everything I've said with a mountain of salt. Idk what I'm doing on YouTube I'm on my 3rd video I could totally be just getting lucky!

2024.11.26 14:50 senorslimm Benq W1070 owners help a compadre out... Issues on delivery of used unit

I bought myself a used w1070 with 1100 hours spent on the original lamp. Seller told me it was in perfect working order but there are some issues as soon as I opened the box. I've raised the issues with the seller and they've offered to refund me in full if I can decide in the next 48 hours. I paid €175 plus an extra €15 postage. I'm guessing €15 postage x2 could be on me depending on how further discussion goes. They also said they'd offer me €25 goodwill if I keep the projector reducing my total spend to €165. The issues are as follows The air vent on the bottom is badly scorched. I think the lamp is on the other side of the vent. I asked the seller about it, they said their kids were using it on the couch, and airflow was blocked for a couple of days but that the projector has worked fine ever since. When I turn on the unit, there's a bit of a burnt smell from the scorched component inside for a couple of minutes but the smell goes away pretty quick. The projector runs a bit hot but I'll have to run something through it at home later to see if it's running hotter than it should. I haven't had a chance to look at it on a screen/wall yet. I'll update in a few hours when I get a chance. The pics above are projected to a sheet of a4 paper. When in focus, colours are true and focus is sharp but there are some white spots as seen outside the colour bars image and again on the black image with red "Live" in focus in the top left . On the other black image with "Live" out of focus, the white spots are very pronounced and sharp. I'm hoping that's not an issue with the optics. I suppose what I'm asking is this. Is the projector toast or is it still worth salvaging with a total cost of €165 paid in its current state? My guess would be that it needs a new lamp at a minimum which could cost approx €100 l but I'm hoping someone here knows if that's the likely extent of the repairs needed and if it's worth taking on. Hi, i just bought the GPRO X SUPERLIGHT and i have noticeed my movements feel a little sluggish and i feel delayed. i first thought it was the polling rate but its already set to 1000. i used to have a glorious model o and i thought id upgrade to the superlight because of all the positive comments i was seeing and i had the money but this is tragic man. it looks cool and astetic too the only issue is the input lag-sluggish movements. please someone tell me that you have had this issue and know how to fix it.

2024.11.26 14:50 Honest_Biscotti_8498 Monitor won't connect to my GPU

(I'm pretty new to computer stuff so I might have messed something up) just got done replacing a lot of parts on my PC, and after finishing I boot up my computer and it won't get any signal from my GPU. I've upgraded my CPU, GPU, PSU, and RAM, and I changed them all put before turning it back on, was this a no-no? I figured it would've been fine since the CPUs were both AMD Ryzen ( 3 1200 to 7 5700) and the GPUs (ZOTAC Nvidia 1050ti to Geforce Nvidia 4060) were both similar, and the Ram seemed like it didn't need much prep to replace so I did those as well while I was at it. And I also upgraded the PSU from 450w to 800w but that doesn't really affect anything right? The Motherboard is still the same.
To preface, I've tried to do as many precautions as I can, I've backed up a Windows image, updated my bios to the most recent version, and I also downloaded the most recent AMD chipsets, but I didn't uninstall the graphics drivers since I thought I could just do that when the new GPU was installed.
I made sure all the cables are plugged in where they should be, the Motherboard, cpu fan, GPU fans and power supply all turn on, lights lit up and fans are running but when I connect the HDMI cable from my monitor to my GPU it shows No Signal?
I've tried different PCI-E cables to connect the power to the GPU and my Motherboard only has one PCI express x16 slot for my GPU to go in. And I've also tried a different monitor as well as a different HDMI cable but nothing seems to work.
Any help?

Hi,
I recently bought a large old house, with very thick internal walls. We currently just have a router in our living room with fibre coming into the router, but the WiFi doesn't extend far outside of this room.
Would a mesh set up with 3 deco X20 mesh units be suitable for a home with concrete walls? Or should we be looking at an alternative system to extend our WiFi coverage?
Also is wifi 6 going to be around for a good while yet?or should we future proof with wifi 7 enabled? I'm not very tech savvy so apologies if this is a stupid question.
