Long story short, my boyfriend’s mother is the reason why I became homeless. She invited me to live with her, and when I had a meltdown (I’m autistic) because I had anxiety about talking on the phone, she threw me out. She also threatened to hit me, and she put me in danger by contacting my abusive mother. This happened a year ago and I’m in stable accommodation now, but the emotional scars remain.
I was recently talking with my boyfriend, and my boyfriend’s mother asked for his phone to be passed on to me. She was drunk, but she justified everything she did, even asking me if I understand why my mother would abuse me now, after I dealt with so much in life. I told her no, I don’t understand why people would want to add this much pain to others. After what I went through, I understand it less. She told me that I need to “let bygones be bygones” and that she wanted me to come to her house for Christmas. She told me she was “willing to be [my] friend, but not [my] mother.” I never got one word of an apology.
After I said no, she started guilt-tripping my boyfriend for wanting to spend Christmas with the family instead of me. She said that I deserve better than my boyfriend. My boyfriend constantly tells me about the ways his mother mistreats him. She even called his brother’s girlfriend a bitch, while she was drunk.
The thing is, I really don’t want to talk to her. At all. It’s triggering hearing the ways she’s mistreating my boyfriend and how unapologetic she is, but my boyfriend won’t call adult social services (he’s got learning difficulties) to get him out of there because he feels they won’t do anything. I want to ask him to stop talking about his mother, but is that reasonable? WIBTA if I asked him to stop talking about his mother? When I told him I didn’t want to talk to his mother ever again, he thought I was breaking up with him, which is why I’m so worried about asking him. Thanks for any advice.

2024.11.27 01:40 idkbr0idk Xbox Series S won’t let me play Call of Duty Modern Warfare even know it’s purchased and installed.
I bought this game when I first got my Xbox Series S in 2020 but stopped playing it for a couple of years so it hasn't been installed until a few days ago.
Like I said a few days I downloaded it and installed it. Once I open up the game it gives me two options: War Zone and Modern Warfare. When I click over to modern warfare on the right it says "purchase" as in I need to purchase it to play. It's already purchased and installed including all the add-ons though so I don’t understand? Even when I go on the Xbox store the game says it's installed and gives me the option to open the game which just leads me back to where I started.
I already tried uninstalling then reinstalling... didn't work. I tried uninstalling, restarting my Xbox, then installing again... didn't work. What can I do here? I'm just trying to replay the campaign (which again, is already purchased and installed).
