So I’ve started binging Sex & The City— literally just finished episode 2– and I can already tell Carrie doesn’t respect herself.
So in the second episode: “Mortals and Models,” Carrie decides to investigate modelizers—men who date models. After going to a fashion show with Stanford and Samantha, she meets Mr. Big for the 3rd time, and this was my first clue that Carrie doesn’t respect herself. Mr. Big dismisses her writing by calling it “cute”—as if it’s not a New York bestseller and is Carrie’s income source. During this interaction, he flirts with her and keeps moving closer to her. Carrie is obviously into this—and him. It revealed that he is the type of man that dates models when his date, Misha (who was one of the models in the fashion show that Carrie just saw), shows up.
Now, why would Mr. Big flirt with another woman (Carrie) while on a date? Because he doesn’t respect either of the women he was around. He doesn’t respect Misha as he himself is a modelizer—dating a model because of the validation he gets from it. And you can tell he doesn’t respect Carrie when he says this:
“There’s so many goddamn beautiful women out here in the city. […] After a while you just wanna be with one that makes you laugh.”
Why would he say that to a beautiful woman like Carrie Bradshaw, who only dresses nicely when he sees her? Already that’s crazy to say since he is acting like he’s settling down with his standards. But then when you think about it, his standards are so superficial, it honestly sounds like the women he dates are interchangeable.
Like, I know it gets worse since Carrie ends up Mr. Big’s mistress—which is the ultimate form of disrespect.

So basically I am a very indecisive person. I can literally adjust into any department I get into. My family members who are in the medical field suggested me to take derma bcoz of the 9 to 5 kind of job. No extra hours and good personal and professional life balance. Whereas my parents are more inclined towards i taking up general medicine bcoz they think it has got a huge chance to excel and never goes out of trend and people with health issue go to the medicine department first. I am now in the middle all confused bcoz both have got some strong points.

Vorneweg weiß ich nicht genau ob ich hier im richtigen subreddit bin. Ich hab auf das erste geklickt, dass beim Thema Reizüberflutung aufkam.
Ich habe folgendes Problem, egal ob auf der Arbeit in der Berufsschule oder in der Sbahn - wenn jemand anfängt mit seinem Bein zu wackeln oder ständig sich die Hände reibt oder komisch auf seinem Handy scrollt bringt mich das total aus dem Ruder. Die einzige Möglichkeit die ich dann habe ist mich wegzusetzen oder in der Schule/Arbeit den jenigen darum zu bitten aufzuhören.
Hat hier vielleicht jemand damit Erfahrung und weiß damit umzugehen oder hat sich Techniken überlegt die Situation besser zu bewältigen?
