My company was acquired. I am located in Canada but am also legally allowed to work in the US. I have almost 3 years in an entry level position (proj management) and have not been able to move up. I get nothing but good reviews.
They closed our local office here on the west coast and it looks like all the next natural porgession roles require you to live in Ontario or Tornto and come in 3 days a week.
The job market is absolute trash. Looking for general advice. Either companies known to be hiring, advice on roles to look more into. I'm willing to relocation but current company doesn't consider that.
I BSc degree in life science.

2024.11.27 21:40 mist-or-beast Why not make a big "Hero Hub" instead of Hero Hall + Pet House + Blacksmith?
Since they are merging a lot of stuff together anyways, they could just merge the pet house + blacksmith into the Hero Hall, make it 5x5 and have it be a general hub for all things hero related, hero, equipment and pet upgrades would all be managed from there. We already have the necessary tabs anyways so it'd make zero accesibility differences. Would just be a better way to handle these stuff imo.

Hello,
41 M from the US. No, I don't live in London but hopefully you'll still hear me out.
Despite visiting London many times in my life, I've never checked out the gay scene there (clubs, bars, etc.). I posted on another sub looking for recommendations, and got some response. But I've got pretty bad social anxiety and don't see myself managing to visit any of these places unless I'm with someone I already know.
I'm hoping I might be able to find some friend(s), who may want to join for drinks or something the next time I'm there (which is only a couple weeks away). I'm not looking for something sexual -- though I'm not set against it either, I suppose. I also don't intend to "use" you or anything like that. Assuming we get on I'd want to keep chatting online and hopefully catch up whenever I visit the city.
The majority of my friends are younger than me, so as long as you're old enough to visit these establishments I'm not worried too much about age.
About me -- I selected geek as my flair because I guess that describes me best. I could just as well have selected movie buff. I work in IT and I'm into computers and electronics. I love films and television. I do like some board games, though I'm not heavily into video games. I ski and snowboard too. And, of course, just hanging out with friends.
So ya -- if you think that sounds interesting shoot me a DM please.

I’ve been playing the game since lunch, and in fact, I even pre-ordered it. However, it seems like this fan base has turned into one of the most dramatic groups of followers I’ve ever seen.
If you don’t like Ghostface, don’t buy them. If you don’t like Post Malone, don’t buy that skin either. No one is forcing you to do anything.
I completely agree that voicing complaints about bug fixes is important and needed, but the developers are working on it. They’re even releasing weekly updates with constant bug fixes.
Yes, the new UI was a downgrade, but who really cares enough to mass downvote the game over it? It’s just so dramatic and for what, all you are doing is hurting the company making it more and more likely they will stop funding the support for the game.
To be honest, it sounds like some of you just don’t like Hunt: Showdown anymore—and that’s fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But If that’s the case then, go play another game. There are millions of others out there! There is no point in playing a game that you hate post about daily.
