I hope this type of post is allowed.
My family has been trying to reach their lawyer, Ian Burroughs who is currently based in Nelson and moved from Vancouver in 2023. We have tried to email and call/text him on multiple numbers since last Monday (Nov 18th) with no response. This is a time sensitive matter and posting here is my last ditch effort to reach him. He was based in Vancouver when they initially engaged his services, and since we are not in Nelson, we're at a loss for what to do to reach him. This matter would be exponentially easier with the lawyer familiar with the situation, but at this point we will likely need to look elsewhere, costing both time and money.
I'm hoping he isn't hurt or something, as it seems very strange to have zero response in 10 days, especially when told that his help is urgently required. There is no out-of-office notification on his voicemail or email. If anyone has any insight into this or knows him personally (and can ask him to please get back to us) please let me know!

2024.11.28 00:40 Porgysteak Learning how to draft, need some advice.
Are there any websites with example data that I can practice drafting with at home? Right now I'm using the free trials for autocad and carlson just going through the tutorials, still pretty early on in the process, but once I finish I kinda want to do my own project to test myself before my trials expire. A project I had in mind was to start with drafting the plans my own house then maybe the full neighborhood I live in, so I'll have to figure out how to pull the data for that somewhere down the line. Also hate to ask for spoonfeeding, but if anyone here has files they want to throw at me so I can mess around with them that'd be awesome.

Hi everyone. I wonder if someone here has gone through this or if it makes sense.
I used to live in Denmark, but moved back to Brazil. As soon as I changed my location on Upwork the invitations to interviews drastically dropped. I suspect it’s because of stereotypes. They must see Denmark where people are more serious and punctual, and Brazil as a place where we deliver things late, I don’t know.
Do people judge freelancers based on their country?

2024.11.28 00:40 YeahhhhhWhateverrrr Why dont we have a runelite or something similar for rs3?
RS3 has a lot more qol built in than old school. Thats undeniable. But with plug ins, often times old school ends up on top. Idk if id play old school the same if it wasnt for things like menu swapper, farming timers, bird house run timers, all the nice ui overlays for mini games and such.
rs3 has a clue helper that has some extra features in there, but nothing that interacts with the game the way runelite does.
If its a popularity thing, or technical thing, MAYBE jagex can make their own client. A platform and some basic tools for players to make plug ins for rs3. Get the ball rolling so to speak.
Idk, just an idea. It really does dramatically effect how much I play the game. I really wouldnt be all that into old school if it wasnt for the extra plug in features. The qol of rs3 is kinda what made me stick around here too, but theres soooo many little annoyances that can be solved instantly with plug ins.

I am new to Warhammer and only been playing for about two months now. I started with the ultimate starter set and then moved to BT due to the rule of cool with the combat patrol. Now I am starting to flush my 1000 point list out and looking for any feedback on this list or tips for playing what I got.

What I have noticed in smaller games.
I find my PCS getting picked apart alot before they can get close enough to do what they need to do. I put grimmy with them 100% of the time. Probably just a positioning thing.
My sword bros are always with the EC and they do very well because my impulsor delivers them everywhere.
