This one is almost 50 years old and it’s under a 40 year old second degree burn scar, but it has a funny (although very short) story. I was 7 or 8 and I had newly sharpened pencils in a little pocket on the front of my culottes ( it was the ‘70s). I decided to get on the swings and punctured my thigh. I became frantic and rushed to the nurse. I was terrified I had given myself lead poisoning. The nurse looked at me like I was nuts.

 | My 2.6yr woke up at 4am . I got a happy thanksgiving message from a few people likely with family. I said happy thanksgiving 🍁 back . I hate I feel like I’m turning into a negative Nancy those type people always irritated me ….but I can’t help but to dread the holidays now and just want them to be over 😌. 2024.11.28 15:52 Total-Sand-7190 Completely new to Silent Hill (don’t know anything about the game and don’t own it)
I’ve been wanting to check the games out for a long time now. I looked on the Xbox store (I’m on Series X) and there’s only 2+3. Obviously I’d rather play the 1st one before the 2nd and 3rd so if I get a physical copy can I play on new gen consoles with backwards compatibility? Would also like to know a bit about the games - the aesthetic of the games is what makes me want to play. Is there a big story to it? Is it a zombie kind of game? What’s it like to try and 100% it? Do I even need to play the 1st to understand 2 and 3?

Hi! I’m (32F) travelling to Amsterdam over new year (4 nights). I haven’t visited in over 5 years and wanted to find out what everyone’s recommendations were for:
Restaurants: small plates, natural wine, speakeasies, casual. Trendy fun places with a bit of a vibe, off the beaten track that can’t be missed.
Events: pubs or bars that have a bit of a party. I love electronic music but the person I’m going with doesn’t, so something upbeat (vinyl bars?) but not a rave (sadly).
Other suggestions for markets, shopping, pop ups, sightseeing etc would be so welcome!
I have a house party on NYE but keen to add in some other plans too.

The house im in have no earthing(solar power) and i have hp notebook laptop I dont have any issue with this static electricty except that i cant use mouse when laptop is plugged in Its very annoying But my usb headphone works good Its just my mouse(i tried 3 mouses and the 3 ports) It works normal on battery but stops working when plugged in and i dont know what to do Can someone help me pls?

So, as far as I've heard, with the in development colonisation update, players will be able to establish colonies of their own, completely independently. Frontier revealed however that there would be a set range to how far you can build them out from systems already established.
Now, after hearing this I thought "Ah okay, so probably something like the carrier jump range?" 500-1000ly seems perfect. Maybe they might go higher, but not less than 100, since there are some systems whose nearest system is far more than 20 or 30 ly away.
And then they hit us with 10ly. Now, the only thing I can think of is what happened with carriers. It will be carriers all over again. People will quickly snag up nearby systems, making it basically impossible for a casual player to actual get involved in making a claim. I have a slight feeling that the moment this update goes live, somehow every system around the bubble will already be claimed, and the content that we've been waiting for will essentially be cancelled by the most dedicated players.
What do you think?

I don't think this video series is healthy to be competing for the Tower room. Let's be real, the Littles, some Middles, won't even be able to see themselves in that bedroom because of their age order. It's a bedroom which has been passed down from eldest to eldest. I don't think it should be switched for this generation of kids in the Nelson family. I think the rules should stay and that SaiDee should receive the bedroom.
